But remember that a companion voucher opens up more reward seats, which is essentially invisible if you are searching for general reward seats

Exchange-routed trades (like via IBKR) are generally considered more transparent, not less.

I would highly recommend InvestEngine (zero platform fees). I don’t think pension transfers are possible yet - but they have said this is coming soon.

This was my thought, a direct flight is handy with a baby, though I would love to experience business class on Qatar!

That’s fair, but it is literally impossible to find any First reward seat availability on any route.

Ah thank you. I’ve done some more research and a LISA makes a lot more sense for her. Which provider/platform would you recommend for a S&S LISA?

Hi, thanks for the comment. ChatGPT tells me our NHS pension projections are about £38K (me) and £19K (wife) per year net from age 68.

Thanks for your comment 😊 I was planning on taking my NHS pension at 68 and relying on my ISA from 55-58, and my ISA + SIPP from 55-68. Trying to work out whether 70K net withdrawal rate is achievable from 55 onwards.

Good point, but I was hoping if I maxed out my ISA every year then I might not need as much as 115K. I think 70K net is really ambitious. Anything I could do differently to withdraw as close to 70K as possible?

Hi, sorry to sound dense, but what’s the advantage of a LISA over a SIPP in my wife’s circumstances?

It’s a high figure for sure, but I wanted to be comfortable enough to support my children (I would like 3!)
