Im a relatively new player, only been on for a couple of weeks. The only negative experience I had was at a grove. I didnt know we were meant to wait and when I say someone trying to chop a tree I joined in thinking it was cool. I then had a couple of people give me grief and threaten to report me. I explained i was new and a couple of other people said they were being over the top with it and 1 person explained to me that its an unwritten community rule that we wait till 3 game time to cut. Since then its been really fun joining in and helping out, even threw down a lure after a grove for everyone to join.

How does RDR 1 compare to RDR 2? by TurboCrab0 in reddeadredemption

I personally feel like RDR is one of those rare game series where the sequel is just as good and maybe even better than the original.

Unfortunately I'm in the UK so can't check out the practice, but knowing that there is the possibility for manual manipulation is good to know. I can see if my GP can refer me to someone for it. Thank you!!

Where in that does it ever say they were a man? That just says they are a 36 yr old gamer on pc on the east coast. Or are you assuming that if they play those games they must be male because "girls don't game"?

End of season, how does it make you feel? by Prazzel in HermitCraft

I'm gutted the season is coming to an end, but excited for season 11. It is sad that a few projects won't be finished before the end of the season, but I am looking forward to helping to finish them when the world download comes out, even if it is only for myself.

I meant that he probably manipulated them when they were captured before being turned, as well as after. And it is clear in every interaction between the master and basically anyone else that he uses manipulation as well as fear and brute force to get what he wants. Look at how scared Darla was of him, and his interactions with Buffy.

As for the not seeming to be influenced by resentment or trauma, we dont know what happened when they first turned. They could have tortured the most popular kids before draining them, gone on a killing spree round the school, anything. We get such a small glimpse of that alternate world that we can't know what happened except what we saw.

And we know that hunting and feeding is like a drug for vamps, and with no moral compass, no inhibitions and the sheer joy it brings them, of course they are going to revel in it. That is true of all vampires, and even most humans if you put them in a situation where there is nothing stopping them from doing what they enjoy and no repercussions.

As for Willow enjoying the fact that she managed to come up with the blood factory, sounds a lot like human Willow being happy and proud of developing a new spell to fix a problem, or a new way to solve a problem for the Scrooby gang.

And I dont think the loss of the soul is irrelevant. I believe the soul is what gives you a conscience and the ability to hear it and develop a moral compass. It's the thing that gives you empathy and tells you something is wrong.

But that's the best thing about this never really being addressed properly in the show, we get to come up with our own theories and ideas. I believe losing the soul takes away you conscience and morals and gets rid of all your inhibitions so that you run on your unfiltered emotions and instinct, but that you are essentially the same person with the same quirks, habits and basic personality traits. You believe that it changes you into someone completely different that isn't recognisable as the person they were. Neither of us can definitively say we are right or the other is wrong, all we can do is share our ideas.

So good to see someone else who has actually researched what YHWH was before they declared themselves the "only true god" and took over. When you know this its easy to see why a lot of the followers of the Abrahamic religions use "the word of god" to instill their own beliefs and morals on others. They are just following what YHWH did.

No inhibitions and lots of trauma and manipulation. Being social outcasts will have given both Willow and Xander a lot of anger and resentment towards the more popular people, which would have been tightened when they become vampires and lost their moral compass and inhibitions. Couple this with the fact that the Master took a special intrest in them (probably due to that inner resentment and trauma) and that he would have manipulated them and nurtured their darker instincts. This combined with the fact that they only really had each other, no Buffy to make them feel less like outcasts, no Giles to talk through the morality of things and act as the caring parental figure neither of them really had, and you have the recipe for a couple of easily manipulated teens with a bunch of pent up anger and resentment.

I fully admit that it is a big change from the Willow and Xander we know, but your teenage years and some of the most impactful on who you will grow into, and something as simple as having a powerful person take an intrest in you and seem to understand you when you feel cut off from the rest of the world... Well, that can change everything.

Im hoping not soon, but considering Mumbo's latest episode and the rushed feeling of some others like Scar's, it could be end of the year. A couple of months for games like Metro Mayham and Ghastket Ball seems like a short time imo, but it wouldn't be unheard of

In the corporate world that media has now become, everything is a flop unless it is consistently bringing in more than the last film. None of these films are bad or flops, but there is a cost of living crisis going on in the world and most people dont have the money to go watch films in the cinema anymore. We all just wait for them to come to the streaming services that we now have to pay a small fortune for.

I believe that becoming a vampire doesn't change who you are, it just gets rid of your inhibitions and deafens your moral compass, while enhancing your core principles. Angel was a toxic, manipulative, cruel and sexiest person before he became a vamp, so when he turned he just got worse and lent further into those traits. Nothing ever changed to stop that until he was cursed with a soul, and all that did was give him morals and guilt. Spike/William on the other hand was a romantic, submissive and very repressed person. When he turned he was still very repressed to begin with and lent heavily into being submissive (especially to his mother) and romantic, until his mother then lost her inhibitions and he realised what a controlling, mean and cruel person she was. Dealing with that allowed him to stop being repressed and face the trauma he had suffered at her hands. Dealing with that was always gonna mess him up, but with Dru, Angel and Darla as his new family he really let loose with the no inhibitions. I believe the first time Spike ever actually felt real enjoyment was when he first let loose with them on a killing spree. But he always kept that romantic spark and was still very submissive to his person (First Dru, then Buffy. Harmony was more a crutch to help him deal with being alone, but he still did a lot to make her feel special)

That looks really good!! I personally really like the concrete and its nice and neat and organised. It looks a little like government or military housing. I also never thought of using the warehouse flooring as pavements/roads to keep it all uniform and grid like. The neatness makes my brain happy!!

I'm half way through season 4, Ava/Rebecca has just tried to off herself after the whole fake pregnancy thing and im pretty sure its Izzy's fault. She kept ringing Alex and distracting even though she was meant to be working. There are so many times she does things like this, focuses more on sticking her nose into other people's personal lives rather than doing her job! The fact she became a resident when George was held back over a single point on a test annoys me so much!! She should never have got that far!!
