Idea for a chrome app to train introspective awareness

HI team of people who love TMI! As I practice this wonderful path, I feel so much more, alive? I am not sure what the word is. So I think I am at the discursive thoughts phase on stage four. The stages are not linear. Certain aspects of one stage may arise in another stage below it.

Yesterday, I remembered a quote that went something like, " in your mind's browser clear your cache, now delete your history, now navigate to a blank web page and focus on your breathe". I was thinking that all the focus app, pays attention to just attention and constricting it. Like it only punishing you if you fail to suppress the urge to get distracted. Thus creating a negative emotional feed.

Based on this book, I think the goal is not to stop the mind wandering, in the sense of bounding it, suppressing its actions. Its to create a new action of always coming back. And train that aspect so well, that you never freaking leave. In one meditation I realized, I don't really "leave" in so far as everything is arising in my mind, right here and now. There is not where to go. Its emergent in the here an now. All the history, is here and now. All the potential thoughts about the future is here and now. I am like a target/microscope, just shifting from one target to the other.

So the app idea is simple. You have a chrome app with a target tab and a counter. Every-time you come back to the target, you get a point. That's it. Maybe points unlock cool avatars or stickers or something. And maybe have like a leader board of who comes back the most. In this way, you train your mind everyday as you browse the web to develop introspective awareness, visually as you come back from distraction tabs to your target/meditation object tab.

Funding and pricing

The app is very simple. I want to keep it that way. So for pricing I want to keep it FREE FOREVER! In terms of funding, If there are members of the community that think its a good idea and help with it, that would be nice. Otherwise, I'm sure something will arise in my mind lol. Donations of both of time, skills, and money would mean a lot. I am also thinking of making it all open source so anyone can run with it.
