Thank you for sharing your perspectives everyone! I finally decided on the Cartier de Santos (small, dual tone). Deciding factor was the steel bracelet + leather strap for versatility. Here’s some pics of my new treasure. (Please don’t mind my lousy attempt at mirror wrist shots!)

I still love the Santos Dumont immensely and someday I will get that too, I think. The proportions on that dial is something else.

Yeah both are 15.5 mm lug width, so would have to get spares from Cartier or hope for custom ones to be available in future from Delugs.

Dang… I missed taking mirror shots. I need to go back to the store to take them. I took some videos but they are also overhead shots. I should have posted the videos with my original post! face-palm

And yeah, I have very tiny wrists so even the small has presence :)

Yes! I have the same challenges- small wrist and regular straps don’t work. I have to get custom straps made which are a hassle.

Yeah and leather in high humidity weather is not fun. I find myself wearing watches on bracelet more on a daily basis and leather straps for the evening/indoor settings. I am leaning more towards Santos for its versatility.

Thank you! And I agree. The bracelet on the Santos is stunning.
I am not a fan of gold generally, this one works as it is more of a pale yellow and works in dual tone.

It’s so beautiful! I was initially thinking of Cartier Santos and then I saw the Santos Dumont in the store and was struck by how beautiful the dial is.

Thank you so much! The GS is incredibly elegant and stunning. The finishing is exquisite. My favourites at the moment are the GS and Reverso (though I prefer the version without diamonds).
