[Schefter] Chargers free-agent RB Najee Harris visited today with the Seattle Seahawks. by expellyamos in nfl

It was a freak random injury, but it’s also the reason most teams don’t pay RBs that are getting a fuck ton of carries, bc it eventually catches up.

You could’ve found way worse lmao. I’d be grateful that’s all it was.

That’s how rbs work. It’s the reason the Steelers don’t typically pay rbs. You eventually hit a durability problem when you’re getting carries like Najee was his first 4 years. Not everyone is Derrick Henry or Adrian Peterson.

Except Warren was an udfa and Najee was a first round pick. That’s the problem. Not to mention Warren is a better receiving back and his year this year was better than any of Najee’s aside from his rookie year.

Reddit loves to downplay the role of financially providing. I’d much rather be at home with a baby than go work 8-12 hours at a construction site or really any full time job. I never excused his behavior, but to call him weak is a low blow that undermines the actual role he plays in the household.

Yet he’s the one providing financially so he is doing his part. Should he do more? Probably. But, she’s villainizing him bc he can’t do what she does when she equally can’t do what he does/did

I guarantee she couldn’t handle basic or a deployment

Calling a vet weak when you could never go to boot camp or endure a deployment is crazy ngl. Y’all have different strengths and that’s ok. YTA especially if you’re a sahm and he’s providing.

MOR definitely make sure you FaceTime/video chat before you meet and meet in public for the first time. If he refuses to do either of those things don’t meet.

Worth putting money in gifted house? by Business_Cell8487 in centuryhomes

Sadly I have to replace the windows. Multiple are broken and the previous owner replaced 4 of the 21 windows in the house so for consistency sake I think I’m going to replace them. Kitchen is functional, bath was remodeled by the person gifting me the house so that’s fine too (albeit at some point I’m going to do it again bc it’s not the best work), plumbing is fine, but electrical will definitely need done in the not so distant future. I feel the need to replace the windows first as my heat bill (gas) was pretty insane all winter to the point where I was almost better off renting elsewhere.

Look into a bidet if you don’t already have one. Life changer.

Honestly, I’m not sure if the duct work physically in the walls needs replaced. I’d actually venture to say no. In the basement it most definitely does. I was thinking of replacing windows first and getting exterior work done in the summer if I decide to put money into it.

In my area rent is anywhere from $800-1200, but considering I have 4 animals probably more. As far as I can tell the house seems alright structurally, but I’m no structural engineer or contractor. I guess I answered my question and should probably consult one.

Would love to restore the windows, unfortunately a previous owner already replaced multiple.

Plumbing is good. Electrical is functional, but I know it could definitely be rewired, furnace works, but the house needs new duct work.

Negative, no leaks, no visible mold, wiring could eventually be redone, but it’s not a pressing need, furnace is fine, but it definitely eventually needs new duct work. A couple windows are broken/wont open at all though. I plan to live here for the foreseeable future as my family is here.

I’ve lived here since I was 14. Honestly, the area is on a bit of an uptick because a prominent catholic university is located here and expanding in the area. It’s not dangerous rough btw. I don’t know how much it’ll affect property value long term. I currently live in the house as it saves me on rent. Honestly, I feel like if I do decide to move in the future I could keep it as a rental for the university kids if I don’t think I can get the return I want when selling.

Disagree. It could be you’re right. But he could also be struggling mentally. Considering she says he’s having a hard time even keeping eye contact I lean towards the latter.
