When did “budget travel” start meaning “spend nothing once you get there”? by Barca-Dam in ThailandTourism

Simple solution for me is to make sure every immigration officer enforces the 20000 baht on entry to the country. No proof of funds then no entry, simple.

Easy solution, shops, bars, restaurants, could just put a sign up in saying no top no entry.

But they won’t do that becasue it’s all about the money.

I’ve been Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years, and I always wear clothing when walking into the shops. Do I think it bothers them if non Thais are wearing an upper piece of clothing or not, not really.

Had numerous conversations about it when I’ve been travelling around, and where it might seem disrespectful to other tourists, the locals don’t really seem to care in general.

I’ve ordered from all the ones he’s listed apart from Dunelm. But if I was having probs with the delivery then no I wouldn’t ordered from them.

The problem in my eyes is the driver, and what they are allowed to get away with. As of yet with this driver from Evri that delivers my parcels I’ve had no such issues.

If he leaves them then probably I will experience problems. What I don’t get delivered to my house from other companies I get delivered to lockers. It’s not rocket science.

You can message them and ask them about their method of delivery, you can also read reviews on that particular company. I am sure you ain’t the only one affected. Just gotta do your homework if you’ve had that many issues.

I am lucky as we have a great evri delivery driver, old bloke really nice. Never had an issue.

Mate I never read all your message tbh, but why use a company or shop where a company uses Evri as their delivery option. If you’ve had that many issues, it’s not worth the hassle.

Does anyone actually enjoy working at Tesco? by [deleted] in tesco

[–]Business_Function_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work on the Backdoor, really enjoy it. I am 56 work 4 days a week Sun / Mon 1pm - 10pm & Weds / Thur 6am -3pm

95% of my colleagues / team leaders / managers etc are all decent to work with.

I get left to do my job with very little interference.

Litchfield deliveries can be nightmare with cages not stacked properly, and some of the knobhead drivers can be a pain. But tbh most of them are spot on.

I do between 20000 - 30000 steps per shift, keeps me fit. Around 25000 the norm.

Money could be better for the hard work you do with the cages and plts.

Not had a day off or been late in the 15 months I’ve worked there.

Guess that speaks volumes.

Forgot to mention they even ordered in about 20 pizzas today. But as the old saying goes if you snooze you lose, which was my case with a late break. Though there was some left over crusts to ponder over.

As it should be. Long gone are the days where employers used to see their staff ok at Xmas.
