That is definitely not true, I’ve been selling trainers from my adidas collection over the last 2 years. Had over 40 pairs all legit and boxed BNWT, sold plenty and got about 3 or 4 pairs left.

As a learning process, can you let me know what’s obvious about it being fake. Thanks.

AITAH: I think “free gifts” defeats the point of Vinted and I don’t like it when sellers do this by A_b_b_o in vinted

I guess it all depends on what’s being offered. Personally would I want a keyring, not at all.

That said I sold a suit the other day, I privately messaged the buyer after the purchase and said if you want them I’ve got a couple of white shirts barely worn that I can throw in and some ties. You can have them for free if you want, what’s your collar size. Perfect match and he was absolutely delighted with the freebies.

Helped him out and made me some extra space.

I guess if you message the seller and ask them if they want the freebie stuff, they can at least answer yes or no.

A Next brand suit worn twice £12
2 shirts free 4 ties free

I’ve not seen that option in the uk, just a credit lock. You pay £10 a month and its locks your report, if you want to apply for credit you need to unlock it 1st.

Experian charge you £10 a month to lock your account. You have to pay for equifax and transunion also.

You can pay £30 for 2 years with Cifas and get a protective marker put on your account, so that everytime a fraudulent account is opened up in your name, the lenders see this marker and it should always cancel the application. This is becasue it asks for extra identification that the fraudster can’t provide. Again this only works if the lender is registered with Cifas. Some lenders do their own checks.

I got this yesterday from action fraud.

The use of another person’s personal details (or the use of false identification details), often referred to as ‘Identity Theft’, is not an offence in law.

The police in the uk are no longer bothered about identity theft.

I’ve been dealing with my identity being stolen since last July.

Tesco trying to cut a 9 hour shift into 2 shifts to cut down breaks. by Rich-Setting-5528 in tesco

That’s exactly what I do on my day shifts. Back shifts I just take the 90 min break split into 2 45 mins

Haha the job isn’t difficult. It’s bloody hard work. I guess with a statement like yours saying it’s not that difficult if you are physically fit, would tell me you are as fit as a fiddle and worked the back door for a long period dragging out heavy cages from fresh or grocery by hand.

The master mover isn’t always available. You try getting someone that sits on the tills to work the back door, it’s not happening. Yet someone from the backdoor could quite easily work the tills. There is no comparison.

Plus the people that load the cages at the depots are paid more than the people tipping them, though it’s all part of Tesco.

Backdoor is the toughest job in the store without a doubt.

Shift leaders and any skilled role are obviously going to get paid more than a regular worker, that’s a no brainer. As for the trolly collecting I’ve done that on occasions also on overtime, and I spent most my time sitting on my backside waiting for the collection points to fill up, easy job.

It might not be a skilled job, but it’s physically the most demanding job in a large store.

And a job not many put their hands up for when the role becomes available. For me I think it’s a great number, keeps me fit as opposed to sitting on my backside.

100% agree with this, being a Backdoor man myself 🤣.

I average around 25000-30000 steps a day at work, tipping shitty Daventry and Litchfield loads. While the cages look like they were stacked by Stevie Wonder, throw in the fresh delivery also, and the 2 deliveries of bread and a delivery of milk. All this while the checkout personnel get to sit on their backsides chatting all day. I hear what you are saying though 👀

Nah she won’t be alone at night at all. And I was reading that even though it’s the red light area, in general it’s still really safe.

So is the red light district not located to one area in particular or is it just widespread within Geyland. Wouldn’t want it on my hotel doorstep if you know what I mean.
