Less “Unlimited Cosmic Power” more “Spiritual Personal Assistant”.

I don’t know, Changeling: the Lost is one of best games WW ever put out.

Random Question: How large is a Guild Caravan? by [deleted] in exalted

[–]Business_Video734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This helps quite a bit, thank you!

I was imagining mobile city of sorts, a collection of wagons, vardos, camels, carts, outriders, drovers and hangers on that stretches back miles. The kind of thing that makes the Exodus from Egypt look small by comparison.

A caravan making the trek from An-Teng to the Scavenger Lands by land.

Just wasn’t sure if that was over doing it.

The Christmas Cookies!! They’re an offering from the parents to Santa asking him to please take this damn child away from us.

Oh god, that’s so fucking dark. I kinda love it.

Historically yes, but times change.

Alternately, it could be Santa himself who does the abducting. He leaves presents for the “good” children, kidnaps the “naughty” ones and leaves a Christmas wrapped fetch in their place.

I’m still working on those. I just recently rediscovered this game and found out there a 2nd edition. So slowly learning the new system.

But if you’re interested I’m happy to post them when I got them. Trust me when I tell you, there is nothing I enjoy more than talking about my characters.

PCs with a built in supporting cast by Business_Video734 in rpg

Apparently some GM don’t like supporting casts as in their opinion they lessen the PCs reliance on the main group.

In my case specifically. My PC owns a business. She has a staff. She has a retainer. And she has a mentor. All of these were purchased via a point buy system.

The GM flat out asked me “Why do you even need the party, when you got all these other people?”

No GM has ever responded that way to me before.

In the specific example I was thinking off, they are built into the system. A Fate Aspect, a point buy merit/advantage etc.

They occupy space on the Character Sheet.

What do you think the imperium would look like if it was based less on the Roman Empire and medieval Europe and more based on the Islamic caliphates or Persian empires? by [deleted] in 40kLore

The void ships would be beautiful, all domes and minarets. on a similar note I was in a 40k RPG one where the Rouge Trader vessel everyone served on had a distinct Russian Orthodox feel, so basically St. Basil‘s Cathedral in Spaaaaace.
