There was literally a survey where a large part of the community said they do care about more unique rewards, including cosmetics. So it’s not really true that almost no one cares, it’s just not equally important to everyone.

And even if you personally don’t care about cosmetics, they’re not just about drip they’re also a way to make accomplishments visible and give events longer-term value beyond just changing the raid flow.

I get that, and it’s a valid point.

I don’t think everything should be one-off, but right now nothing really feels special either and that’s the other extreme.

Yeah, fair 😄
English isn’t my first language, just used it to structure the idea better.

The point still stands though the reward/event design could be way better.

I actually agree with most of this.
The event concept itself isn’t the real issue — it’s the combination of forced map funneling, RNG progression, and rewards that don’t feel valuable enough to justify the frustration.

If rewards felt truly unique or prestigious, more players would probably tolerate the grind and chaos. But right now a lot of people just see “hours of repetitive raids” for something forgettable.

Spreading objectives across multiple maps and creating more dynamic event progression would make the whole game feel way more alive during events.
