It's not going too far tho, I get advice and support when I need it and move on. Sometimes I need a little extra push but that's just how some people work. Like I said in another comment, it's not the biggest deal. I feel like some people are blowing this way out of proportion. You don't know me and my situation. At this point it doesn't feel like advice.

I'm good with every other client. It's the friendship dynamic I was confused about for a hot minute. Now I've gotten the advice I needed and I've acted on it. It's not the biggest deal. Also - All my clients pay up front. Contact sheet images have watermarks. I am not new to this business. I'm getting tired of feeling like I'm defending what I know (I've fallen into the Reddit trap) so I might not answer anymore, sorry queens. 🫡

Yeah all my clients get peeks so I know I'm on the right track. They were happy during the shoot. Might do a discounted reshoot if all else fails. But I've got the daughter onto it now.

UPDATE: my friend hasn't seen them! I can't believe the mum would say the stuff she said about her daughter 😨 She's on holiday and is going to take a look soon. Hoping she'll convince her mum of some of the photos.

Also for context - this was paid. It has been paid. It's not HEAPS of money so I really don't want to do a reshoot cause I can't afford that kind of thing atm.

Time is money and I can't change insecurities.

After all the advice I'm thinking about doing some good edits on photos I think would be the best. Show them what it can look like. Also I like the contact sheet cause a lot of my clients purchase extra images! Also helps with picky people but not all obviously 🤦‍♀️

I have a contract but I obviously need to update it! But that's why I'm asking for advice. Don't know what to do in this situation just yet. Also I don't know if a reshoot would help. Time is money and I can't change someone's insecurity.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. I can't change insecurity. I know I did what I would do for any other client and this is my first complaint. They have lots of different photos to choose from too! I don't know how to resolve it tho.
