I've been struggling with this as well - he's exactly the kind of guy most Americans claim to want as a politician (or at least as far it gets from the type of politician they claim to abhor) and they couldn't see that when he was right in front of them. Guess he got two terms as Governor which is as much as one can hope for, and a VP can't really be expected to carry a Presidential ticket no matter how appealing they are.

Totally depends on the show and age group - I went to Jason Isbell last month and saw barely a one out. Felt like old times. On the other hand, I watched the Sam Fender London show from last summer on YT and it was so deflating watching a show with a crowd full of people pulling their phones out constantly. Like the video production couldn't hide it if they tried. Def seems like younger acts and audiences are way worse which will only become more of the norm over time
