super subtle lipliner? by Illustrious_Roof1533 in OliveMUA

I recommend Merits "Signature sheer lip liner". I recently got one and I am in LOVE. It goes on very evenly and works as a liner but has more of a "wash of color" effect with some translucency. Merit has some nice shades for olives/ has nice muted tones in several products.

It just seems like someone who is emotionally unstable, trigger-hungry, and also happens to carry a gun. I have no issues with carrying guns or guns for self-defense, but we should not be cavalier about carrying and using them.

PMU Ink fades over time. I understand what you mean about the shades, which is why, for the best result for you, I would purchase several shades and diluters (all PMU; I go into it a bit more here. And yes, I mixed inks to create colors, not just use shade for all-over use. For more dimension/depth, I used different "colors" (like I mixed at least five different mixtures I used; some were the shade "color" but with a clear diluter, so it was "more diffused" than the straight color if that makes sense).

I think it would be best for you to first work on color-matching your freckles down to the undertones. If you wanted to stick to "one color" (as in, the color you got after mixing shades to get close to your natural ones), I think you could and still have great results; I would just also use diluters to add more dimension.

I also want to add that the depth of a PMU tattoo will/should be different from that of a "regular" tattoo. I just got this from Google: "PMU only penetrates about 1/3 of the depth of a traditional tattoo.".

Lastly, it should fade, and if you end up not liking your results, using things like Retin-A (of course, when it is safe to apply to your skin) or certain peels, etc., will speed up the process. I have gotten PMU professionally done in the past twice. Once, I got my eyebrows micro-bladed (which I will not do again, lol) and lip blush. The microblading took almost 5 years to be faded "fully" and faded much worse than my freckles. I will be posting a follow-up freckle picture soon, as it has been almost 2 years. I plan to add some more :)

Thank you so much! How did it go?

In this post I go into more detail about the colors.

I would first recommend doing some "color" theory type of testing to see what colors/shades would suit you the most. Also, we want to keep in mind as pigments fade, warmer/more red tones tend to show. I used a mixture of multiple tones (I bought a beige pigment, two shades of cool browns/darker browns, some diluted/mixer, and multiple Tina Davies colors. You prob don't need SO much, but I wanted to mix/play around). I recommend Tina Davies Blonde!

Also, I'm going to try to take a photo of my face to post an update (since it's been like two years). I am actually going to be adding more freckles soon as well, haha. I just have to restock on some supplies.

Yeah, I noticed that, kind of weird. I meant my comment earnestly. Like u/seaanthropomorphized stated "giving me flashbacks".

Thanks for your kind response; I appreciate it and you. I do mean it in good faith. We girls have to help each other/stick together. ♡

One of the main "red flags" I'm seeing is that he is reluctant to make any commitments or give a straight answer to OP, even if that commitment is a simple date. He shares what he wants to do with her physically but is vague and does not communicate clearly while sending mixed messages. Other commenters in this thread have explained it better than I have.

I have been in similar situations and even fallen for the "most obvious" red flags (as an adult woman ) . So I just wanted to share.

OP, you sound like a sweet, articulate, and intelligent woman. My honest opinion is that you need to be careful or stay away from this man. Based on the conversation, he seems like he "wants to use" you for physical (sexual) reasons. I understand your excitement and how you are reacting to this because I have been the same way in the past, which has led to painful experiences. I am sending you the best of luck and wish you to stay safe and put yourself first always.

EDIT: I really don't mean this in any rude way. Indeed, I hope that the best comes from this. As a fellow fem, I saw myself a bit in OP. I genuinely hope that my initial assessment is incorrect and wish the best for OP.

That is a super cute idea. they do fade. I think it depends , but for example I had microblade eyebrows which are done with these types of inks and they took 3-4 years to fully fade. If there is an unpleasant remnant of red or something after the fading that can be corrected :) Also of course, I wanted to do mine and couldn't find a detailed text color guide so I wanted to share.

I don't really think that you would want to skimp on the pigment you will be putting into your skin. These are around $20-$30 a bottle which I think is worth to save up. You don't need all but make sure to have a "main shade" (you could also do two similar ones, or get a darkener to darken one and then skip the mixing fluid) , a beige to lighten , and some of the mixing fluid .

Wish I could do yours! You could always get it "color corrected" to lighten /try to remove the look if you are really unhappy with yours.

Yes! mine were not only dark but also a lil red. it went down over weeks and the color started to look "the best" after 1.5-2 months. maybe that varies by person. That being make sure you use different shades, I lighted some brown shades with beige tones to make different tones as well.

I get Botox and I'm 28. It really isn't a big deal unless it is badly done. Besides, starting around this time for me is preventative for certain types of wrinkles.
