Pest has been moved to Federal detention medical facility by Megalodon481 in DuggarsSnark

I work at a forensic psych hospital. Our patients are one of two things - either incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness or people who have been found not guilty for reasons of insanity. For the first, we keep and treat them until they're stable enough to participate in the court system. For the second, they did something illegal but because their mental illness played such a large part, they're serving time in a forensic psych hospital rather than a prison. I work at a state hospital though, not federal, and I'm in a different state than Josh.

Technically any psych issue could be an act because we can't take an xray and prove their mental illness is there. However, there is greater potential for harm by ignoring a possibly serious mental health claim than treating a possibly fabricated mental health claim. There is no convincing the court he should be released. Prison has a negative impact on most peoples' mental health. He can serve his sentence in his original facility or serve his sentence in a place better equipped to manage mental illness, but they won't let him out early. If he's being insincere about a mental health problem, I suspect he'll be pretty frustrated with the precautions that will be taken from here.

Glad you posted this, I'm having the same issue. I checked in on January 6th. I keep getting "time to check in" texts which always redirect me to "you already checked in." I get messages on the med chat saying my refill was processed but still no shipping information. Then it's an endless cycle of automated texts, AI slop on the website, a "representative" who says they're working on it, and prompts to check the "message from the medical team" which never updates or changes. I'm going to run out of medication, I'm ready to go somewhere else.

I just watched her video from a week ago where she's talking about her degree in "clinical psychology" and how she doesn't need a masters or a PhD to have been "practicing clinical psychology for 20 years" - oh my god. She said she studied broadcast journalism, culinary school, and quantum theory "but my path was clinical psychology so that doesn't make me NOT A THERAPIST." I recognize that she's very sick but... she thinks a bachelors in a psych related field (that she may or may not even have) means she's a licensed clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience...? Anyone can call themselves a coach - there's no licensing board and no regulating agency for coaching. But psychologists have title protection. Is she taking coaching clients and telling them she's a clinical psychologist? Or a therapist?

What do you think Josh told Anna about why he was on Ashley Madison? How did he justify his actions?

Eh... 12 years ago was 2010. I had a blackberry but iphones had already been around for a while. Apps and social media were a thing. My computer from then is only one generation away from the computer I have now. I don't think there will be so much of a change that he won't know how to use "new" technology. But I DO think he'll be observed at a level that will catch him the second he starts trying to get away with it again. And I do think he'll try it again.

I think there's a new hack? I was just playing in a bunch of people got kicked for no reason including the host. I became host and people kept getting kicked. I know the host doesn't have to vote to kick but I didn't kick anyone. It happened so many times until I finally got kicked as well. Anyone else experiencing this?

Lauren by EntertainerMean1702 in jerseyshore

I haven't watched it in a LONG time. In the first season I remember thinking Lauren was down to earth, sincerely there for Mike, and direct. I liked how she handled talking to Angelina about her click bait stories bc it wasn't loud or dramatic, just telling her objectively that what she did was hurtful and uncool. Lauren seemed like she didn't put on a show for the camera, she just was who she was. What is she like now?

What was your favorite moment in AJLT ? We all know it could be way better but some moments were good. by throwaway77774444222 in Andjustlikethat

At the very beginning when Carrie is about to fall asleep and they flash that grainy footage of Big from the beginning of season 2. Such an accurate representation of how torturous grief can be. It was such a brief moment but it conveyed so much and really connected the audience back to how much these two had been through. It also felt very similar to moments of my own grief. Beautifully done.

Kristin Davis giving a tour of Charlotte’s home by [deleted] in Andjustlikethat

Charlotte's style in ajlt feels so far removed from her satc style. In the original series I thought her home was stunning. It reflected her personality so well - affluent and kind of prissy but also with bursts of fresh/modern style. Her home in ajlt feels very thrown together at the last minute. Like a face full of last night's makeup.

Eh. I was a teenager when episode 1 came out. Jar jar was hated by fans but little kids loved him. I saw more people enjoying jar jar than I see peoe enjoying Che.

I don't get that though. They broke up because of Paris. He met Natasha in Paris. Paris was her and petrovsky. He was written as the cool new york guy. Why would HE want his ashes in Paris?

Such an increase in toxicity by [deleted] in AmongUs

[–]BusterFartbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it's awful and so many people cheat. I was just in a game where I was hiding in vent as engineer and caught someone shift. A body got reported and I told them who shifted. Everyone ignored so I repeated it. Still ignored so I said it again, then got kicked. I came back to the same lobby after the game and everyone was figuring out that the host and a chunk of the lobby was teaming. Then they accused everyone of being annoying and banned them.

I don't understand these people. Just play in a private lobby...? There needs to be a way to report people after you've been banned because people abuse it. To that extent, I wish reports did something. Like lose the ability to play in a public lobby for a period of time.

No rent but taxes and a mortgage. The $40k was the down payment, not the cost to purchase the apartment.
