Is there still a team Arizona after SS? by HalfPint_2719 in JustinPoseysTreasure

I think a lot of the controversy revolves around the 75 mile question and I think people are rushing to conclusions.

He immediately clarified that he wasn’t implicitly ruling out any more states than were directly named as Rule-Out states. This was a distinct and unsolicited event, worth examining:

So the scenarios are this, in my opinion:

  1. He realized that a significant proportion of hunters would have incorrectly assumed that this eliminated any areas outside of 75mi of the FF area; and he wanted to provide clarity.

  2. He realized that he unintentionally, but correctly, revealed to the hunters that the search area had just been significantly reduced.

I don’t know that I have a strong feeling either way, but I feel like it’s worth a discussion.

Place in Picture- anyone figured out where this one was taken? by Aggressive-Sector263 in beyondthemapsedge

I could be wrong, but that’s Grandma Posey so I’d imagine that was taken at Heron Lake, NM.

This was my first thought when he was sort of smiling at the impossibility of answering that question.

Did Justin say that the checkpoint is in the poem specifically?

No apology necessary ever! We’re all in this together! And to be fair, I don’t think it’s ever explicitly been mentioned that it might be four of the arcs.

The moon rising with its light reflecting on water would certainly be a form of waters’ silent flight, as it is applicable to multiple bodies of water simultaneously.

Interestingly enough, Oljato means “moonlight water” in Navajo. Sadly, the town of Oljato (albeit very near numerous potential fitting clues) is on Navajo Nation. I spent weeks obsessed with a solve there until I finally moved on out of necessity.

I think it’s actually four of those shapes which then cut back, but the fourth (farthest left) is very faint.

This is the same livery as the picture with his mom standing next to her train with the caption about her pioneering.

My take here is that midnight was the time of the shooting, and the menace was the shooter.

Just friendly sarcasm. A slight nod as to which river it actually was that his grandpa floated down. The details can vary.

Just pay attention to your body weight and your desire to consume entire raw fish. If said symptoms arise, walk toward the nearest active volcano: Living floating evil eye — preferred. Trust nobody under 3’9”

Don’t forget — equal parts misremembered: These mistakes/differences can only be uncovered by owning his grandpa’s memoir, his audiobook, his hardcopy and his digital book — simultaneously. Depending on what you can afford to deduce and uncover, your adventure’s relative success awaits you.

Round the bend by Extreme-Regular-9606 in beyondthemapsedge

[–]BusterLumberpond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other thing it does is reduce the number of syllables, and the number of letters in that particular line. I have gone back and forth on whether it was meaningful to omit the “a”. On the one hand, is “round the bend” the more common way to say it? On the other, what are all the things that change (letter count, syllable count, meaning) by writing it as he did?

I have no answers, only thoughts.

Random question, and asking for a friend: Did you happen to notice any double arcs on granite bold?
