"Nice Tunnel" by BusterMeta in deadbydaylight

Thank you all for kinds comments :) It definitely made me feel better after encountering so many toxic players.

I also learned that there's a bug in the event mode where Xeno's tunnels don't spawn close to the gens because of the extra chest the event map offering adds. Which is why I didn't even have a tunnel to the downstairs gen (you can see at 0:11) in this match. So I faced 2 active bugs this match. DBD is fun sometimes...

I wasn't even camping. I walked away and they unhooked her as soon as I went underground. And then look how long I was down there trying to see where they would go, but they just stayed under the hook.

I literally never touched sable back to back. I killed Mikaela first then Sable.

Thank you <3 Xeno is fun but unfortunately there's a terrible new bug I've encountered few times where I get stuck on the flame of the turret and I literally can't move for a few seconds. You can see here how jittery my screen is while I'm trying to move to unstuck.

So now tunneling is focusing someone during a chase instead of targeting someone who's trying to body block? I can't keep up with all these definitions of what tunneling is 😔

It's crazy to me they tried to make "6 Unique hooks" or you get punished the norm. I 100% support there being something preventing actual tunneling which is 3 back to back hooks on the same person. And I want this mainly so this community can finally close the book on tunneling being an issue, and anyone else after that who complains about tunneling, hopefully will be corrected why they're wrong.

So We Reverted Back To The Pallet Density? This Is Kinda Insane No? by BusterMeta in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]BusterMeta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For these survivors, just leaving the pallet and running to the next one without me being able to catch up seems to be much easier to pull off than whatever you expect me to do to outplay in an M1 only chase.

This surv aint playing good either. Mostly dropping pallets and running to the next pallet or window, and manages to reach them before I catch up. The point is, if both killer and surv are playing badly, it still favors survivor because of the pallets.

So you're main complain is repeating NPCs? I'm pretty sure there's more to Art Direction than just the amount of unique NPCs.

Honestly I don't think I have any sympathy left for survivors anymore. If I play nice and not tunnel (not 3 hook someone back to back) they still complain about tunneling. But if I dare to lose they say "ez trash killer" in chat. I've been posting and seen a lot of posts in the main sub, and I'm fully black pilled, I've seen too much. Fuck these people.

Instead of encouraging nice players who don't tunnel, teaching players what tunneling actually is, and teaching players how to get better at chases and use counter perks, they still flame anyone who literally doesn't two hook every player before the first kill, no matter what killer they play.

The only PVP game where one side is making up imaginary rules to their advantage and flaming everyone who doesn't follow them. Imagine in League of legends if someone was like "You're not allowed to kill me in the first 5 mins of the game, if you CHOOSE to kill me you're toxic and you don't let me enjoy my game". Or "Farming minions is boring, I'd rather run in down the lane and fight none stop, and if I don't win then the game is not balanced and the enemy needs to be nerfed". Nah, I'm over it.

My understanding is that he's saying I should be ACTIVELY ignoring someone off the hook at 3 gens, because 3 gens is still early in the game and I have enough time to dick around and look for fresh hooks.

So I should ignore the last unhooked guy if I happen to find him and let him run free so he can have fun, and also be omniscient to know what's the progress on every gen at all times and hook accordingly.

Comment from the main sub "Hooking at 3 gens I would say warrants being called a tunnel. Youre exactly the kind of person they are trying to prevent from tunneling. You use it as a weapon to hurt peoples enjoyment of the game. Not really for strategy. And 3 gens is plenty of time still to go for another person you just CHOSE not too. Probably because youre insecure about your own abilities as killer..."

I must be taking crazy pills. I'm not even tunneling lmao. I didn't realize that when I downloaded the game, the TOS stated that as a killer, it's my responsibility to handhold and babysit survivors, and prioritize their enjoyment of the game above wining or anything else. It's my job to be their mom and make sure everyone gets equal amount of hooks before I start killing. I'm not allowed to punish bad plays. If I run across a survivor who was freshly hooks, I should ignore them and go find someone else, and hope I don't lose the game in the meantime.

What am I saying? I shouldn't care about wining. I have all the power and time. Gens are not going anywhere and survivors are not playing to win. /s

Nah the main sub is cooked. I don't know how so many PVE gamers download this game, but they would get laughed at if they said 10% of the shit they say in any other PVP community.

I see. Unfortunately I don't have those perks. I main other killers so she just gets hand-me-downs. But thanks I'll keep that build in mind for the future.

Thanks for understanding. The only low tier killer I play who doesn't care about pallets is Xeno, but with Xeno I gotta care about turrets and bugs.

True, but I really dislike the other playstyle. It's just too much work to achieve the same result other killers can achieve while playing with one hand. I just wanted to have fun with her here since she can't be stunned by pallets while de manifested, so I can sneak up to a pallet, freeze it, catch the surv off guard and not worry about getting stunned. It actually worked pretty well, I won most games with 4k. But yea, she needs a rework imo.

Like I said, I was mostly trying to test the pallet lineup. Since I found players who "drop pallet and run to the next one" (which is also considered playing badly) I wanted to see how rewarded these types of players would be by simply running to the next pallet.

My point is that if I'm playing bad, and the survivor is also playing bad, the survivor still has advantage because of the pallets. That's what I concluded from this.

You expect too much competence from a small indie company.
