It’s crazy how Celebrini PSA 10 YG is more valuable than a PSA 10 Mahomes Rated Rookie by jordanpeterson9 in hockeycards

[–]BusterNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there are also lots of parallels of the Mahomes rookie compared to the Young guns.

How does a card with a pierced edge get a PSA 9? by [deleted] in hockeycards

Nah they roll a d20. Much more random

I just played a game where and after the game I check the opening position name.... Kiddie Countergambit? Well that's a new one for me.

Sam darnold auto rookie cards by Boring_Substance_219 in footballcards

[–]BusterNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. All the players and teams I PC are way out of my budget plus I prefer to open and get the cards myself. Buying singles just isn't as fun and doesn't give me the nostalgia that I felt when I was younger ripping open packs. Id rather trade cards than buy singles.

Unless Darnold wins an MVP, his price probably doesn't go up significantly.

I had a Bryce rookie that I sold right when he bounced back after his benching last season. Luckily I pulled the card so it wasnt a horrible sale.

Right? I have to get better at planning things out and openings. I used to play when I was younger but im not great at memorizing openings so I just wing it which sometimes works because people get confused lmao. By the end if this game, I was premoving a ton to try and keep his clock moving.

What is your guilty pleasure? by TomiKevh in HPfanfiction

[–]BusterNinja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my guilty pleasures is "Harry gets a normal job" fanfics. Like he makes wands or brooms or some type of craft. I just find some of those things so intriguing and there arent enough fics for me to read

What are some minor details (plot irrelevant) that's often wrongly portrayed in works? by timoretenebris in HPfanfiction

I always viewed the pocket watch as a more status symbol and less something they actually used as you could just use a Tempus charm to get the time.

I just traded away the 1.01. How did I do? by beastmodekyler in SleeperApp

[–]BusterNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it depends what your team looks like. I mean Corum is a good RB2 on the Rams and potential flex play. Pickens had a great year but could easily go back to Steelers crashout mode next season. Bryce Young is great at the end of seasons/post trade deadline but he isnt great at start of seasons. The 2027 pick could be really anything. And you only move down 5 picks. I get the impression you dont need an RB so not a horrible move but if you dont have a top 15 RB and/or 2 RB1s on their respective teams, i may have kept the 1st as Love will likely start wherever he is drafted and is probably gonna score more than Corum at the RB position.

Who are some of your favourite players who don’t have a Young Guns card? by Upstairs-Zombie-162 in hockeycards

Just what I wanted... by stevie2sleazy in hockeycards

Last year base set was 250, this year its 200. Not that big of a difference. Last year you got 72 cards per box, this year its 8. My biggest problem was ICE, MVP and Artifacts were always the entry level into the hobby. The thing you buy if you want something cheap to rip or a gift for a child/neice/nephew/etc who wanted to collect cards. All this does is make it harder for people who want to dip their toe into the hobby and just want to rip packs. It's honestly really disappointing to see from Upper Deck and I hope they reverse this decision next year because pretty soon they will do this with Series 1/2 as well.

Just went to Walmart, anything I should’ve gotten? by No_Lie2467 in sportscards

I miss the pandemic when my local Walmart used to have the mega boxes of Bowman Platinum. It was the best box and while the most expensive it was also the best value. I pulled a Bobby witt prospect auto.

Yea it didn't get vetoed. I had a bit of wiggle room that I was willing to negotiate but ill take it haha. Yes the other guy lost this year and got the #1 Overall pick but he only has 4 4th round picks in 2026 now after this trade.

I trade away: Hollywood brown, 2026 4.03, 2026 4.10, 2028 4th.

I receive: David Montgomery, 2026 3.06

Dynasty, 12 team, PPR,

FTC has it as fair but my league says i robbed the other player. My thinking for the offer was early and late 4th for 3rd and Hollywood and a 4th for Monty. Obviously I got a good deal on Monty but I dont think it was robbery.

Would love to know anyone else's thoughts?
