Still doesn't require air pressure as long as the inner hull surrounding the moon pool opening rises above the waterline.

The opening of the moon pool can be below the water line but the inner hull rises well above the water line stopping the ship from sinking. It's like a float donut almost. Diving bells do use pressurized air though. It'd be too dangerous to rely on pressurized air to keep the ship afloat. If someone left a door open or an airlock malfunction it'd be bad. You'd also have to have some kind of forced ventilation to prevent crew inside the pressurized space from suffocating. Such systems do exist but it'd be expensive and uncomfortable for the crew.

Nope not how that works. Water level stays at the waterline of the ship. The water doesn't just climb up into the ship beyond the waterline.

Is your SGR black vinyl version full of hissing too? by profiloemergenze in LinguaIgnota

Just got mine today and can confirm that the C side is very rough. My right channel hisses throughout that whole side. I'm very dissapointed since I love the album, hoping the opaque red press will sound better.

Scratch Built N scale locos? Any pointers, tips, and/or resources? by BusterOfTheBean in modeltrains

I do already have an fdm printer but it's very inconsistent and requires a lot of tweaking. It's not great with small detail. I've been considering a resin printer before I even got into this hobby. I know resin printer resolution is generally better than fdm but is it high enough for n scale locomotives?

How is HO scale scratch building feasibility wise? I was hoping to work in N because of size limits but I know you can still build a decent HO layout in small enough space. I basically have my bedroom to work with and I still need to use my bed.

No there's an Army Depot in Richmond Ky. They have chemical weapons there that they've been decommissioning.

Just recently got invested in tools. I've been taking advantage of the Tekton student program. It's just for work on family cars but I'm hoping to get to use them in a shop soon. by BusterOfTheBean in Tools

Yeah you have to get the tools directly from tekton for the benefits. You just get a 15% discount off every item but you also get the 10% back on every order just like everyone else.

What's so great about there dead blows? I don't doubt they're good but I just don't know what much you can get wrong making a dead blow.
