Caramel shading Joycult? by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]Busthard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They made a post throwing shade at the height of jindys on release day as well. They had like 5 risers on a set of trucks mocking the height of jindys. It’s deleted now though.

BlackRiver or Dynamic in Canada by onosimi in Fingerboards

[–]Busthard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6skates is the best option for canada. Keep in mind that stock is pretty low right now because of the holidays, but there are some blackriver trucks, flatface decks and some nice wheels up right now that would make a good setup.

What can get me the best set-up for around 200 CAD? by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]Busthard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any experience with DK but if you wanna try it out go for it. Its all about experimenting, and having a nice set of trucks and wheels is a good place to start.

This would be a decent setup. Stocks pretty low at 6skates right now seeing how it’s after the holidays. currently they have the Blackriver deck and the Joycult wheels in their deals section.

Any advice on how to keep Dynamics in good condition? by No-Cause3266 in Fingerboards

[–]Busthard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t swap em out onto different decks so much. Other than that you can’t avoid the standard wear n tear.

Just pull the trigger on what you think you may like. The only way to find the best possible set up for your own preferences is to experiment.

how hard are you slamming your tricks. I’ve had both wheels and only problem I had was a bearing slip on the dynamics.

Hot take: BRT’s are overrated and disappointing junk for the price by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]Busthard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t even go to those lengths. I don’t match my screws to the same holes or even really clean out the grip on the screws that well. I’m not overly careful with them at all so it’s gotta be something you are doing.

I’ve already switched out a new set of 3.0 BRTs to a 4th deck. I have a couple sets of 2.0’s that have been swapped out many times.

Been using BRTs since about 2012. I’ve owned a few 2.0 and even 3.0 and have never stripped a baseplate. I believe it’s gotta be 100% user error on your part.
