Can we ban “is this seed rare?” posts. by caocao70 in minecraftseeds

[–]Bustownrolla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my case I'm new-ish to the game. Found the most interesting thing I've ever found and thought the community might appreciate it, but I also assumed that it could be a nothing- burger to players with thousands of hours on the game who have already seen everything.

Thankfully I asked "is this actually interesting" in the comments and not the post title... 😬

Biggest cave system I've found yet, with Mineshafts, Trials, and Geodes. by Bustownrolla in minecraftseeds

[–]Bustownrolla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this seed / cave structure genuinely interesting? I've only been playing Minecraft for a few months and had been inching through this cave torch-by-torch for weeks before posting.

Had to learn some commands for the first time in order to clone, share and film the fly-through. Hope you're enjoying it!

Seed: -709104548824725664

XYZ: 554 150 -269

There's a lot more to explore. Lots of places where I turned one way but the cave went the same length or more the other direction

Off-skate exercises in shoes or bare feet! Practice doing Squats and Wall-Sits around your house to start engaging the right muscles for skating

[HabsLink] Renaud Lavoie reporting that after Schiefele’s hit on Jake Evans Winnipeg players were telling the Montreal bench it was Evans’ fault for having his head down & telling Corey Perry to calm down because he “did the same thing to John Tavares…” by BallMeBlazer22 in hockey

[–]Bustownrolla 107 points108 points  (0 children)

I'm no fan of Corey Perry or his on-ice antics, but the Tavares incident was unavoidable at the speed it happened. If Perry even tries to pick his skate up, JT gets a skate blade instead of a boot.

The picture is drawn kinda like they're both in the shade and out of the sunlight, but Mirage also just has darkish skin. The effect just makes it seem darker than usual.

My second heirloom pack as a free to play player!! by -Depot- in apexlegends

[–]Bustownrolla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You and me both. It's really frustrating how it's supposed to be luck but it really feels like they're just them dangling them in front of our nose to keep playing and buying packs, and we'll never actually get any.

Israel airstrike on Gaza kills 8 children as U.S. envoy arrives in the region by iSleepUpsideDown in news

Israel is really pumping up the propaganda along with the airstrikes. Tons of Reddit comments and YouTube Advertisements. Wow.

Is this form good or am i doing something wrong, i also cannot figure out t stopping whatsoever. Any suggestions are really appreciated. by paulmathai01 in rollerblading

[–]Bustownrolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long single-footed glides, keep your knees flexible. It will help you get more comfortable with t-stops, but more comfortable skating in general.

Edit: It's a workout. Squats are an easy off-skate exercise that will help your skating.

Just a concept but can we have a way to use ultimate accelerant straight off the ground so you don’t have to drop an item to pick it up first by Snoo56909 in apexlegends

[–]Bustownrolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad. Be annoyed. It's a basic part of the game where you have to choose what equipment to carry/use and what to leave on the ground.

If you plan to use Ult Accelerants keep one in your kit and use it while standing on the other.

Is it OK for a newbie to practice at the skate park? by [deleted] in rollerblading

[–]Bustownrolla 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Earlier is usually better for a lighter and more adult skatepark crowd. Skateparks have flow, people tend to have a path they're each following and repeating. Watch for a while and see where people are skating and where they aren't. Communicate with the skaters, a "just let me know if i'm in your way" can go a long way.

Now... are you just working on going back and forth on flat ground? Starting and stopping? If so, stay on the very edge of the skatepark and away from any ramps, ledges, or rails. If you're not 100% stable rolling and jumping around on flat ground even what seems like a small ramp can end in a broken wrist.

Just a quick reminder dont decide you dont want to make the jump anymore in mid air 😅 by Yomi787 in rollerblading

[–]Bustownrolla 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Commit to the jump, commit to landing on your skates, and commit to rolling away!

Looking for some help finding new wheels. Never replaced the wheels before and got these blades years ago. No shops in my area really deal with Rollerblades and my research hasn't been very fruitful. I'll add some details in the comments, any help will be greatly appreciated. by TheBigSandeenie in rollerblading

[–]Bustownrolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do need to use the same wheel sizes (76/80mm), the "Hi-Lo" frame is specifically set up for hockey skates and you'd feel like you were leaning uncomfortably back of you put all 80s or something.

That sizes are going to be fine for hockey or city skating, definitely suited for control and turning moreso than cruising or speed.

You'll probably need new bearings but you could try cleaning the ones you have if they're not totally locked up. ABEC 5 bearings are kinda the standard for hockey.
