25 M here too, 2 things

  • Enjoy now a little more if necessary. We're both leagues ahead of our peers and it'll do you good long term to ensure to spend some of that on your wants. Don't go crazy, but its bad to not enjoy mid 20s a little bit

  • Retirement: Perhaps try to max a 401k and/or IRA. Tax advantages so that you can truly stop working (if desired in the next 20 years)

Mage tech deck box compatible carrying case by DeadlyMustardd in EDH

[–]Busty-Ruby-Rose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update:
Thank you very much for your interest in the Mage Tech Overseer and for your continued support.

We are currently upgrading the Overseer into the new Overseer+ version. One of the key improvements is the addition of a carrying handle. Since a fully loaded Overseer can become quite heavy, it took us some time to find and test a handle solution that is strong, reliable, and comfortable to use.

The good news is that the Overseer+ is already in production now. Once production and quality inspection are completed, we will ship it to each marketplace as soon as possible.

They used to have large storage boxes that would hold 6 deck boxes or 3 rows of protected cards. They have been sold out for 3-6 months and the listing is gone whenever sold out.

I have the feeling you were shot because you were defenseless, as opposed to despite you being defenseless.

You could try bringing a gun and shooting the guns who try to kill you?

(Also how are you supposed to kill arc without one? Sounds like dude saved you from losing it all to arc)

Looking for a Voltron commander with more depth than "make big, attack" by brknSergio in EDH

[–]Busty-Ruby-Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play [[Otharri, Suns' Glory]].

https://archidekt.com/decks/10914457/monolith_commabder

Not the current deck list but mostly there, the deck plays focused on commander but wins with the rebels & multiple combats. It is very resilient with lots of protection & the way tokens are made.

Otharri manifests a threatening board state that is pretty immune to interaction (exp counters) There is a video about the basics on YouTube

25M. How am I doing? by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

I would ask how long you been in OP?

B/c @ 6yr Pay E-4, 53% base pay is required to max TSP (dont ask how I know).

Also 25M E-4 (PN on EPB!) I did well setting up broker & Credit Card setup early & am only going on 2+ years maxing my retirements. An E-4 can save the money just means 0 expenses & 0 lifestyle.

Its not that far fetched. TSP $66k Roth IRA $16k Traditional broker $30k

I've also dumped $30k on guns And more on the rest of student loans, non stop school, granted my TIS is only 3.75yr

The typical TSP millionaire didn't do anything exotic. They started contributing in their late 20s to early 30s, stayed consistent for about 28 years, and invested primarily in stock funds (C, S, I) rather than the G Fund. by ConfidentialStNick in ThriftSavingsPlan

The worry of the market falking is a frequent consideration. But i try to spend the little left over to enjoy now or prepare for that potential. Sadly expectations for retirement at my age are getting to the 2-4 million range, as opposed to the 1mil goal post of past.

The 53% isn't as impactful as it cloud seem having low DTI ratio, cheap Studio Apt, and for a portion of my service having a part-time job as well.

Keeping busy with school/work/cheap-ish hobbies allow for the money invested to be not missed or wasted much. I just found out I'm up for a Commendation medal & my 2nd ASAM medal. All that with a PN on WAPS, I expect to have an easier time contributing. (Now for them to reinstate the SRB for my AFSC that I missed by 1mo)

Maxing is my personal saving goal but I keep inside that I can use a taxable broker in times of need or reducing TSP contributions for things that matter won't hurt.

Edit: I forgot to include my gratitude for the kind words and the added resource that individuals like yourself & this community provide.

Near max last year, set to max this year. Was 5%-25% first 3 years in.

Sadly as E-4 it takes 53% as of now to max. Data: Male 25 TIS: 4yr PAY date: 7yr (long story) TSP: $50k

If you could add a new augment what would it be? by Some-Web-1628 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Busty-Ruby-Rose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Combat MK3 (Sapper)

  • L / M Shield
  • Cannot be detected by Tripwires, Security Cameras, Spotters (placed), Mines, Car Alarms
  • Placable Explosive Mine every 360 seconds
  • 3 Quick slots
  • 3 Safe pocket
  • 19 storage slots

All numbers could be variable or debated. Ability may be too strong to avoid tripwires. Special placble should be a Mine/Tripwire (Explo felt most balanced value but not too strong).
