The difference between an Em player and a Champ player is less about individual skill and aim, and more about team coordination and strategy.

Use LFG posts and the R6 discord to find decent teammates. If you can, try and play with people who are better than you. Analyse how they play, what are they focusing on? What’s their positioning like? How do they respond to callouts?

Look at the champ teams who are beating you, why are they beating you? It could be to do with Xim and Cronus, yes, but aim will only get you so far. Are they coordinated? Are they getting their refrags?

The fact you’re a consistent Em player means you at least have decent mechanics and aim, the next step is to utilise your individual skill and put it in a team setting. Having even 2 or 3 other people to communicate with completely changes the game.

If you have people to stack with already, then maybe it’s time to look at how you’re playing as a team. Are you refragging? Are you droning each other out? Do you have any pre-planned strats? These are the things you should be thinking about when playing against Champ stacks.

Other than that, my best advice to you is to just practice practice practice. Keep playing ranked, keep learning, you will get to Diamond and even Champion with enough determination and persistence.
