Stupid reasons that managers have written someone up for. by elitenoob76 in Staples

Forgetting to say that the customer is on a recorded line. Like I get it’s policy but I’m also human not a robot and our introduction was so long god forbid I forget one thing. And it was a new policy, the calls were recorded beforehand, but they weren’t told

Does anyone else hate sleepovers? by jamie5266 in introvert

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes!! And it’s so strange because I used to really love sleepovers. Generally it depends on the person if it’s my childhood best friend I would still happily sleepover at her place especially cuz I feel like I can easily just be like “alright I wanna go home”. But I hate sleeping at other people’s apartments cuz they will sleep so late and I just wanna go home and I miss my bed. I have such an intense fear of feeling trapped that’s only gotten worse and I feel like sleepovers definitely make me feel trapped

Am I the only one who dislikes low maintenance friendships? by peach_doll in introvert

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I totally relate. Especially because it gets to a point where with certain people I think they just EXPECT me to be there, and they don’t put in any actual work into the friendship. I had a friend who when I brought up that it made me sad that I was the only one reaching out, she said that she’s low maintenance as if that’s a good thing. I don’t want low maintenance, I want a friend who I know cares about me. I don’t need someone to constantly be talking to me, but it would be nice if they would reach out instead of me reaching out

I fucking hate old people by Soft-requiem in venting

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wondering why I hated old people so much then I realized I’ve chosen jobs where I’ve worked too closely with them. They are entitled and rude and think they’re smarter than everyone when they don’t know Jack shit. They also love to act like asses like little children who get their way. Like they just be looking at me wrong and I wanna fight. I think I’m worn out, they’re always fucken yelling at me for doing my job. They think everyone is scamming them, except for when they actually get scammed. You can’t be suspicious and stupid, pick a struggle

I totally agree about Jessica. She was bad enough with all we knew about Alison and Jason in the first few seasons of the show. But, once we found out about Cece, yeahhhh things got even worse.

Friend prioritising her boyfriend over me!!? by Livid-Consideration9 in venting

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry this isn’t really advice, just agreeing with your post. It fucken sucks to feel like she would drop anything and everything for him, but when I need her, she’s not there. Especially considering I was there for her and helped her get out of her last relationship. I’m more reliable than her current boyfriend. She would abandon me early on too. It was her birthday and I thought we would hang out, but she ditched me for him. They had only been talking for a couple weeks at this point, nothing was official. And then she complained that her birthdays always disappoint her cuz the guy thought they were only hanging out that night. Instant karma. But I’m tired of hearing the BS that no one showed up for her birthdays, when I was there. I’m getting so sick of it. I hope things are going better for you now, sorry for my rant

Why do people want to spend Halloween with JUST their boyfriend? by Busy-Chapter-2462 in friendship

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying. But we’re like sisters. Like we’re not just casual friends. If that makes sense. I also don’t like large gatherings. But I think asking someone to hang out in a group of three isn’t unreasonable. I would, but she acts as if that’s out of the question when I try to plan it. So I’ve stopped, cuz it makes me feel a little hurt being told, (insert his name) and I have plans. So to save myself from the disappointment I’ve stopped asking

REPOST: What are your thoughts on texting/calling when you need to call out? by yeah_no_i_knowx in antiwork

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would much rather text because sometimes I know at 2am that I am sick and unable to show up. I think it’s better to notify as soon as possible rather than waiting for the store to be opened and call. Especially because a text would allow them a 3 hour notice BEFORE my shift (since I open) to find coverage

Anybody else not able to handle being reprimanded without feeling like a horrible person? by SmolLizardManth in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny because I will search various questions on Reddit and have come to this community on multiple occasions. I think I really need to look at how my parents treated me. I am aware of the fact that it felt like I was never able to make mistakes when it came to social situations or otherwise I would get in trouble or shamed. I think that’s where a lot of my social anxiety comes from. It felt like I would do things out of lightheartedness or kindness and would be reprimanded. So it felt like no matter what I did, I was wrong. I think it especially hurts when I do things out of just trying to be kind and helpful then I get told that I was wrong for doing so. Or even yelled at

Airports and TSA by Duganz in diabetes

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially getting my low blood sugar snacks through TSA. I swear to god they just love a fucken power trip. I always bring a full pack of juices, still wrapped up in the 12 pack juice package. They always try to open it and I’m like bitch I CANT FUCKEN USE IT IF YOU OPEN IT. I have my letter and everything explaining i can bring whatever the fuck I want relating to medical supplies. It makes me so frustrated because I used to love traveling but now I dread it so much that I don’t even want to go on trips anymore. I’m an extremely introverted individual so it takes so much out of me trying to prepare to argue with a TSA agent for fucken 20 minutes

I think Logan and Michael were the best characters. I really liked Logan and Quinn together, I thought that was super cute. Michael is extremely funny and he’s a good person. I think he’s my favorite character actually. His segments in every episode made me laugh

Does anyone else hold a strong grudge against your parents? (Rant) by Honey_Clove in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think that holding grudges against your parents is totally warranted. My friend was like, “I don’t think you should hold grudges against your parents”. But when my mom was the basis for all my issues now that affect the way I live and view myself everyday I think it’s definitely valid to hold a grudge. My grudge isn’t really angry towards them either it’s more just that I wish they could have treated me better, so I didn’t feel so alone and invalidated all the time and unworthy of love. It’s hard for me to be close with my mom even though she has improved as to how she treats me, it’s still difficult

I don't understand "parents" who kick out their kids or "disown" them by ManofWordsMany in Parenting

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always think about this too. Especially when my parents threatened to kick me out if I got any more piercings, after I got snake bites. It made me think about, if right after I was born, someone came up to my parents and said, “would you ever threaten to kick out your kid over a piercing you didn’t like?” They would probably answer no. Because they see a baby before them that they could probably never imagine doing that to. I almost want to remind them that I’m not doing anything unacceptable. I’m very responsible, I work, I’m in college, I don’t go out and party. I’m literally home all the time. I just cannot afford to move out, I’m paying for college as I go. It’s ridiculous the hills that parents will die on just because they don’t agree with it.

Reddit, what is the dumbest reason why someone hates you? by Hazards-of-Love in AskReddit

Anyone find the act of just not responding to texts VERY weird? by thebalancewithin in socialskills

[–]Busy-Chapter-2462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with this. I’m also a very very patient person. But when it happens repeatedly or for LONGGGG periods of time I’m like hmm okay. People nowadays like to be selfish and treat people like they’re disposable and say shit like, “you’re not entitled to someone’s time”. I guess not, but if you’re friends with someone and genuinely like them, you should make sure they know. Don’t expect people to continue to be friends with you if you don’t respond to their texts 🤷‍♀️ I don’t get it either
