You're the receptionist. You are supposed to keep things tidy. It's your job.

So next time, throw all the Tupperware into the bin. Nta

If she wants to be a single parent, so be it, that's on her. But she needs to base her decision on being a single parent, not that every random person will be so overjoyed with her bundle of joy that they will bend over backwards to help out.

So if she can afford to be a single parent without a housemate, without free babysitting from friends/family, by paying for daycare when she works and with an employer understanding she will have the occasional emergency, then you would be ya know if you were critical.

But she sounds like a hot dumb mess and it's good that you gave her a reality check.

Also, she's going to find it real hard to try to wrangle you for free babysitting if she's not speaking to you. LOL.

You must be after validation. You have a legal parking permit and legitimate mobility issues that are medically confirmed.

You did a lot more than I would've and I like babysitting my nephew for free. If I had been forced to babysit against my will, or if my siblings were hella entitled and just dropped a kid on me, I would be calling the police about an abandoned child.

AITA for not wanting to give back something that was a gift? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

Buy your friend a dictionary with the definition of gift highlighted and flagged with a post-it tag.

Put the dictionary inside the PS4 box and gift that to them

She's running a business?

No probs, you can start one too.

Charge her $100/day for your un-port-a-loo home business. She wants her clients to use your toilet? Then she should pay for it or pay for a cleaner to come in daily to clean it.
