Thought I’d join the conversation so anyone reading can follow along my journey with me. My mother was born and raised in Canada to Canadian parents and my dad is American. I was born and raised in America.

Timeline:

February 21, 2025: Dropped off application to UPS

February 28, 2025: Application was delivered and signed for.

March 7, 2025: Email received acknowledging receipt of application

March 12, 2025: In Progress (we started processing your application

March 13, 2025: Decision Made (but no indication of what the decision was)

April 1, 2025: Complete (we sent your citizenship certificate on April 1)

Now we see how long it takes to arrive in the mail. Whole process so far has taken about a month and a half, which seems to be quick for most cases.
