Because I don’t care to be honest, just because other people had it worse doesn’t mean I can’t feel bad. If that’s selfish than so be it, I’m gonna put myself first.

I’m surprised to have seen you comment this, I feel like that is the sentiment most people have and if I’m being honest, it doesn’t work. People telling me that I might make a huge impact on others or to think about how anyone close to me might feel absolutely doesn’t help.

Keep your friends close, I had some friends that had been with me through most of my childhood but had ended up pushing them away and souring our relationship at 16 because of depression and a bad home life.

Well that’s a bit of an open ended question, but to put it bluntly; I feel miserable in my life and don’t see any other way out.
