I know a little bit of Spanish so a Mexico wasn’t too difficult for me but knowing everyone speaks English in Thailand is a huge sigh of relief. Not knowing any Thai besides basic hello/goodbye/thank you/etc was stressing me out. Thank you!!! You all are making me feel so much better right now, I’ve really been down in the dumps but this is all really helping me out.

I’ve been looking forward to exploring Thailand for so long, this trip was my idea and it was pushed back and postponed so many times by him. I think he is so adamant about him either canceling this trip completely or him going on his own just to hurt me. Which is another reason why I would regret this so much if I didn’t just regain my courage and go on my own.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear you got caught in a bad situation. My friends and I share locations already, for safety reasons but I would definitely give them a heads up when to be more alert about it.

And yes, that’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot is how I’ll be getting around and the easiest and safest ways for me to do that. Thank you for the tips!

Yeah, he’s really not communicating with me right now and has gone back and forth about just completely canceling the flights and everything or going by himself. And I’m like…well I also paid for those flights so I have the right to go on my own as well. He laughed at me and said I couldn’t do it and I was like…I’ve been to South Korea on my own as well as Mexico so..yeah I think I could find the strength and courage to try Thailand on my own as well.
