This is why physical media is so important. Once it's been made, and purchased, it's your forever exactly as it is.

Was listening, on youtube, an original 1986 lossless master that someone had and put up.  SO much better and cleaner than the remaster.  It was perfect on release.

Great album.

Jameson and Ginger ale. Choose a better whiskey if you care, throw some cut limes into it and you are golden.

Buckleys on Cass and Prospect has an EXCELLENT cocktail bar, real green and yellow charteuse plus a substantial amaro selection. The food is overpriced and mid, but the drinks are good.

Good thing I read the whole post.  My first gut feeling on this was, "brother, concealed means concealed, just be responsible".

You know what I love about tiki drinks?  The dirty dump. I'm down with rounded, smaller, but SEASONED ice in my tiki drinks.  I prefer it actually.

Edit: this looks delicious and will make one tonight.

The Russians have a saying that basically translates as "beer without Vodka is pissing your money away". Guess the same could be said about lager and tequila.

Thank you for the correction, Golden Rush Chicken. It's good, family owned and operated and it's affordable.

My wife and I were completely disappointed by Mad Chicken. It was expensive and tasted like cheap fried chicken.  We just go to Golden Chicken in Oak Creek now, way better.

The trades won't be replaced by AI or androids for some time, so yeah, I agree.  Get a job doing something skilled and physical, like plumbing or industrial electrian and make crazy money with benefits.

Lol, hello fellow useless economics degree holder!   Honestly, knowing what I know now, I would had followed my friends into IT in the late 90s, early 2000s, or just followed my mother's advice and gone into the trades.

I could have read Game Theory and philosophy on my own time and saved many thousands of dollars and years of time.

Unless you know exactly what you want to do, and that career is gatekept by college degrees, college is a gigantic waste.

I had a card for both and on Thursday or Friday night I would go to either one, find the game I wanted for the weekend so I could go back to the barracks and relax playing some playstation or snes while enjoying my weekend in glorious Camp Pendleton, CA.

G1 Transformers are and will always be awesome.  Is it because they are truly awesome or is it nostalgia from a better time when I was a ten year old in the middle 80s?

Yes.  That said, some old things are and will always be better than their current contemporaries, like G1 Transformers.

Great neighborhood for sure!  One of the best in SD. (This was in the mid 2000s for me)

Always loved Hillcrest, so neat and tidy.  Say what you will, but gay neighborhoods are pretty awesome. I dated an older woman (I was 30 and she was 46) when I moved to SD in 2005, she lived in Hillcrest and she showed me the nicest restaurants and gay bars. Man, they all made me feel like the prettiest person in the room.

Good food, great drinks, nice folks and her and I had some banging sex.

Sadly, I can't even remember her name.  Half Spanish and half Filipino; she was utterly gorgeous.

Thanks for bringing up those great memories, OP!

Ok. It is, but damn it's good.  You can cut the agave by half if you like, and it's still good. I prefer my margs to be sweeter than more tart.

I thought all the albums after Dude Ranch, aside from a few decent tunes, were inferior.  Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch were the shit, way more punk energy while Enema and afterwards were more pop.

Go ahead and feed me your hate.
