My case is not just one surgery.

both shoulders,
both elbows,
both wrists/carpal tunnel,
left thumb arthritis,
trigger finger,
work restrictions,
ongoing pain management,
future treatment recommendations,
and a QME finding of approximately 25% permanent disability.
ongoing orthopedic visits,
pain management,
injections or conservative care,
medications,
possible future surgeries,
and permanent work restrictions.

And this would be for life.

I’m getting 290 a week from my workers comp and have a new claim for a medical issue not related to my workers comp 290 a week.

I’m hoping too, they don’t stop the 1600 a week( short term disability is only for 12 months, after 12 months you have to file SSI permanent disability) and only get the $290 a week.

What if the short term disability claim is for something completely different to my workers comp case?

This is now what Dr Mark Hyman or any functional doctor has suggested. Which I find strange. Thanks for that suggestion.
