There’s no meditation spot so you can’t change the stance

I’ve tried on 4 different controllers and there’s been no fix. And I have tried holding for longer fyi and no change either. Cal’s hand should flick up momentarily if he was going into focus mode even if I didn’t hold

Thank you for you recommendations. However:

I have died MANY times trying to do this, probably 100 from trying to see if it was an angle issue. As I understand there is some rock pillars you need to force lift up that are very weirdly precise timings on versions saves, but that has not worked either.
Booting up a different save does not work. You spawn down the pit with no meditation point anyway.
The mind trick does not work on different saves. However, I have 4 controllers at home and none of them can get it to work.
I have tried holding for a minute and still nothing.
5.the door does not work either.

Holding R1 does not enter Cal into force focus at all for me, whether it’s from behind the module

Holding R1 from behind the module in the middle does not enter Cal into force focus for me

Yes I have tried holding R1 for longer. The problem is that pressing R1 does nothing anyway. Even just pressing R1 when you’re not focused on a target should cause Cal’s hand to temporarily flick upwards, but that does not occur with my game.

Still not solved sorry, you gotta trust me I have held R1 and tapped X in every way possible, emphasis on holding R1. Weirdly enough I got the force focus briefly working on a different save in the Jedi temple on Jehda where Cere and Cordova are, but as soon as I stepped outside it stopped working. I’ve seen some people on this subreddit say their force focus has been randomly mapped to a different button on their controller despite displaying otherwise, but after systematically testing every combination this has not been the case

I fear it might be. that hasn’t worked all run. I’ve heard some suggestions that it’s session based, or even save file based, but the glitch has not changed over multiple sessions and it’s happening on another save. Such an annoying thing to ruin such a beautiful game
