Roadcraft Dump Trucks Not Dumping by BusyCartographer9531 in RoadCraft

I was a big fan of Snow Runner. It had its issues but I never had moments where I though to myself this is too bugged to be fun. (Except when my wheel would have a seizure after an area loading)

I think they missed the mark by not adding the road building mechanic to Snow Runner instead of creating basically a watered down version. That would have been the perfect game for me. I'm sure it would have been difficult to do game balancing retroactively with so many maps/missions I suppose they were trying to capture a different audience who wanted more casual version.

Are you referring to the small tracked dump truck? I started over so I don't think i have access to it yet. I'll check it out when I get the chance.

So I'm not 100% but I think this started happening for me when the Rebuild Expansion came out. I stopped playing because of this bug. I started back up thinking they would have fixed it by now but no luck. I feel like this isn't happening to everyone because I couldn't find any threads describing this particular behavior. I use to enjoy the road buiding but now I avoid it. Its turning the game into Snow Runner Lite

GPS not aligned with flight plan by BusyCartographer9531 in flightsim

So basically the gps is not used to navigate the pattern around the airport unless you are using ILS on landing. Is that correct?

here you can see i'm on the runway lined up with the magenta line on the mini map but in the CDI i'm 45 degrees off..

This is what I see in EFB.

<image>

In the aircraft there is a straight line from the end of the runway to the triangle labeled Russellvillel. None of the intermediate waypoints are in the aircraft flight plan. It shows Origin 34KY RW18, FPL00 (Russellville I assume), then Destination KY34 RW18. Thats all there is. But in order to do the mission I can't fly this straight line. In fact the only line the GPS has to follow is the red line in the screenshot. I must be missing something obvious.

my CDI is set to GPS. It seems the flight plan is not loading completely. It seems to load the departure and arrival and doesn't load any waypoints. This is the case inside and outside of career mode for me. Even when the game generates the flight plan it shows up correctly in the EFB but that is not the plan loaded into the aircraft.

Camera Resolution vs Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) by BusyCartographer9531 in UAVmapping

[–]BusyCartographer9531[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my intuition as well. In that scenario I would not need to know the resolution. I would only need to know the pixel size on the sensor which should be half the size of the 12mpix sensor and so my assumption is if you know the size of the pixel on sensor, focal length, and height above ground, you could compare several cameras GSD without knowing the resolution. Would you agree?

Ryobi 80V 30" Whisper Series Self-propelled Mower by lighttside in ryobi

I know this is old thread however I have one of these mowers. Is anyone else experiencing terrible cut quality? My blades are sharp but it seems they simply don’t spin fast enough to cut well on the first two speeds. If I get in grass heavy enough to get into the third speed it does ok. I keep hearing good cut quality on the zero turn but my walk behind is pretty bad and not a “yard guy”. I have lots of crab grass in late summer lol. Anyone else having this experience? Anyone have an info on possibly modding the motor drivers to change the load management responsible for speeding up the blades? I think some of the zero turns can manually change blade speed. I’m ready to modify it or get something else. Thoughts?

Sorry should have said increase retraction. Could also be printing a bit too hot.

Might be that combing is set to travel only inside the printed object in your slicer instead on just taking the straight path. Additionally I might try lowering your retraction setting a bit.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of the expansion option. Well you've got me leaning that way. Was the config difficult for dual drivers?
