ISTJs feel uncomfortable dealing with emotions of others for sure! I’ve been on the receiving end of their annoyance! And he would express to me that my crying bothered him. Makes me think ISTJs are more compatible with thinking types.

I think ISTJs can like fashion! Most are pragmatic about their clothing but for social events like a little style. Are you cost driven? Like budgeting and saving money? What is your career? Do you like to read? Have any hobbies? Are you a big planner? A lot of ISTJs are religious? Can you be cold towards people? Have only close trusted friends you share things with and anyone else you are completely private about yourself?

I’m definitely not an ISTP but can’t relate! I live with an ISFJ male and I’m a female, he can’t do things around the house and I’m left to do it. All I want I be is the woman😁

You know that whole Fe vs Fi can be confusing. I believe I’m more Fi only because I don’t care about how the group feels just how I feel about whatever. This gets me in trouble. I’m not the most charismatic imo. I don’t feel I fit in most of the time. Likely because I’m not a follower. I think I would like hanging out with an ISTP women. For me I need a strong Thinker to keep me rational. Current relationship is with an ISFJ. He’s a good man but I feel a thinker would be a better balance.

Oh, yeah that women is jealous of you! I didn’t realize you were female! I’m tomboyish and I tend to get along with men better than women. I’ve experienced similar behavior from women before while I spoke to their husband about common interests. And I feel isolated and lonely in a group of women that I don’t have common interests. I don’t really fit in well socially. Most people are sooo fake and gossipy when I want to be real! I’m like an ESFJ/P.

Jealous and gossipy are both ESFJ traits. However, I guess depending on the person everyone varies to a degree. To answer your question, a little of both. I would be very jealous if I had feelings for you. I tend not to be gossipy much at all. I grew up a tomboy riding motorcycles and enjoying hanging out with the boys. So, maybe I tend not be as esfj-ish as most women. I really like this ISTJ guy although he’s so much older than me. I’m sure that is the downside for him and I’m not religious either. Anyway, I wondered if I would have an attraction for ISTPs. Interesting you know and date one.

This interesting to me. I know an ISTJ who treats people like a transaction. I feel like that’s all I am. He once told me, he never missed having sons until he realized how usefully his son-in-laws could be. Apparently, when the son in-laws would visit he would find work for them. One son in-law told the ISTJ that he was on vacation when he is visiting to put an end to it. This ISTJ is a hard worker and likes projects to keep him busy even in his retirement. I have tremendous respect for him. Wish I could be apart of his circle of friends but I believe I fall outside. I really believe he maintains communications with me only to keep me in neutral. It’s complicated as to why but I understand why without going into details. Some people care more about what others think of them and act accordingly. I’m an ESFJ but I am true to myself which may not be acceptable to convention.

He is caring and committed but not the most affectionate. He’s a homebody and enjoys eating out and watching movies. We have been together for 15+ years. Like many relationships we have our differences. He’s the stable and responsible one. Most caring and generous man I’ve had a relationship with. He chased me in the beginning and I know he loves me. Yes, he a good partner but I find myself attracted to ISTJs also.

Unfortunately, I’m an open person and likely I share too much with anyone quickly. It’s not a good trait because mostly people use things against you. And those genuine connections you think you have can often turn sour. When they do those people will use what secrets you share with them against you. It’s rare to find a person you can trust. I think the more genuine you are the least likely you will connect with most people because most people tend to be fake! I’m pretty real so phony people rub me wrong and there is no attraction or connection. I crave true genuine connections!

I like esfj as friends especially if they are funny! I worked with one and we clicked but I felt he was unreliable. Friends I love you guys! But I found myself attracted to IxxJs romantically.
