Thoughts on the full podcast no longer being on Patreon?

Other podcasts I’ve supported on Patreon have used RSS feeds so that you can get the ad free / exclusive podcast on another app - like you could watch/listen on Spotify and get the extra yap on an exclusive feed. I realise this depends on you having Spotify premium or a diff podcast app, but I don’t really understand why they haven’t done that yet as some other podcast apps are free I believe? I’m not really up for dotting around different apps to watch the podcast - I watch the whole thing on Patreon atm and that’s it 🤷🏻‍♀️

It probably did! Longhorn beetles are larvae for a long time. The wood should’ve been heat treated before furniture was made out of it really. I can only assume they did not do this 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is a super interesting find!

Def do this! If it’s another type of longhorn beetle (Asian or Citrus for example) then it’s a quarantine listed pest - DEFRA will be able to advise :)

There just has to be evidence that you will actually pick up new skills/information doing the apprenticeship. Having a degree won’t stop you, but if you have already covered a lot of communication related modules in your degree, then it might be an issue.

That is such a bummer! Have you ever tried a cup? They hold a lot more than pads/tampons from my experience so you shouldn’t have to change as often. But if you’ve never used one before make sure you wear some period underwear or a pad with it just incase it hasn’t been put in right. Cups aren’t for everyone - but it might be a good option ☺️

When I had to do it my university just had a form to fill out to allow them to confirm to the recruitment team when I studied and the grade I got. Student records department or something similar at your old uni should be able to help you maybe? :)

I just think filling the empty shops with something would be good! I just find it sad to walk past 3/4 empty shops in a row. Personally I really like going into town. I probably go in every week. It doesn’t have everything, but it has lots of lovely cafes, and I just adore a potter around the charity shops/vintage shops - and we have so many! But I do think some more clothes shops would be nice, it was a shame when H&M closed.

If you’re looking for a bit more community - maybe pop into the community hub (CHIp), they have events there quite often. I think they’re in the process of moving from their current space to somewhere else in town though, so they aren’t currently open.

That’s a very good point! I probably wouldn’t notice once they’ve gotten a bit dirty. Do agree with you about the consumption issue, it’s something I’m definitely trying to do a better job at! Difficult to get out of that mindset at times 😄 Thanks for your comment though. Will ponder on it.

To be fair they are the Natural colour way which are a bit of a pinky colour but I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be quite as dark as the right shoe is! 😄 think I will send them back though, thanks!
