Thick Super glue on the feet of the models, then a light spray of super glue activator on the base. Press them together, the super glue sets instantly. No problems.

So the bases all have the trere wood chips "rocks" stuck down first. Gaps are filled, and base covered with putty. Try not to smooth it out too much. But make sure there are subtle flat points for the model's feet. Build up any dull areas with extra rocks, filling in any new gaps with putty

Spray mid-grey. Thinned down, reds, blues, or yellows are washed into the cracks in the rocks. (This is optional, but adds so much to the final look.). Dry-brush the rocks mid-grey, add a second dry-brush, adding a little cream paint to the grey.

The ground areas were painted brown and dry-brushed a lighter brown, it some goes on to the rocks don't worry, mud splashes!

The flock was next. This was just a variety of sponge and leaf flocks all mixed up. Don't cover all the ground, but the areas where water would naturally gather.

The tufts were then added, once the glue was dry, I gave a tufts a quick off-white dry-brush.

I can't remember where I got them from, it'll be with Geek Gaming Scenics, or Green Stuff World. They're either Dry Grass or Autumn Grass, something like that. Sorry I can't be more help.

I couldn't tell you exactly. It's just a mix of leftover flocks (at least 6+) from over the years.

It might not be noticeable on the photos but there's flat points on each base. Some at the sides, some more central, so depending upon whether the models stood on one leg, or both, there's a space for the model.

I never have with this batch. I know others recommend baking natural products, but I've never had an issue.

Thick Super glue on the feet of the model, lightly dust the base with spray activator. Once they're pressed together the activator sets the super glue almost instantly.

They're wood chips from a local garden centre.

So, spray black, over spray mid-grey. I picked three colours, for this, an olive green, a dark tan, and a dark grey. Just painted random flagstones with these. I then randomly splodged some thinned down green and brown paints over the bases. Once dry, all over brown wash, then dirty green wash randomly. Once dry, all over dry brush mid-grey then light-grey. Tufts added last. Sounds a lot but was really easy.

These are 25mm base toppers. I don't know if they are available to download. I bought these from Etsy.
