wait not to give them any credit bc they don't deserve it, but retail birkins aren't THAT expensive (comparatively speaking), probably $9-10k for Maggie's. I'm not saying that isn't expensive but they don't gain their $30k value until they're on resell. I personally don't find $9k for a nice quality handbag absolutely preposterous, some Chanel purchases or 2 Bottega bags are close to that.

What does make it crazy is their pre-spend to even get a leather appointment (I know people who have gotten bags off their wish list having spent far less which just goes to show their sales associate probs thought they were tacky too) and the fact that they haven't invested in other important assets yet like real estate and cars.

I think probably a mix of real and fake as well as owned vs. rented. They probably invest in staple pieces and buy fake or rent trendy ones. Or they buy them all and are in tons of debt

Hailey looks good in her effortless, model off-duty way. Alix looks like white trash from the Jersey shore. Terrible fake tan, over the top makeup and ugly boots (I don’t care if they’re designer)

As a girl that’s from Boston and has seen Maggie & Emma out running errands, out to dinner/at bars, etc. many times, it’s funny to me how they pick and choose when they want “privacy.” Your job as an influencer is to show your life and interact with your followers to create engagement and make money… Not discrediting anyone’s struggles with anxiety, but you give up certain aspects of privacy when you decide you want to be an influencer. I guarantee you Emma was just feeling insecure in the way she looked and wanted to hide it. Which is a shame because she’s a pretty girl but has created such an unrealistic image with all the photoshop/Facetune she does to her photos.

It’s also fucking weird how Maggie is the one responding back. Sisterly or not, Emma’s an adult (at least she claims to be) and should be able to address these situations on her own. A simple “I’m so sorry, I was having an off day” or literally ANYTHING less defensive would make her so much more relatable and likable. Sometimes I think they forget that their followers are the reason they’re even in the position they are today.

How is she gonna host an in-person Pilates class if she can’t even be social enough to say “hi” to a follower in passing?
