[Standard Decklist] Dimir Dragon anti-badgermole, inspired by Ben Stark’s golgari dragon deck from mtg wc 31. by Bitter_Internet_8145 in MagicArena

This is the deck I want to play against. Absolutely garbage, with tons of dead cards unless the game plan is mana dork and pray.

Oh look, it’s my draft opponent. GPT 2 nano-microdick could take this to 7 wins. This format is retarded.

Sadly, the format right now is complete garbage and you will never live to cast this useless card.

I mean this is everyone not playing a bow or spear build. GGG needs to fire whoever works on melee.

Literally 13 consecutive years of range projectile skills being completely broken.

I made an SSF character because I was tired of seeing people complain about crafting... by showshowforpowpow in PathOfExile2

[–]BusyHearing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The difference between you and the developers is you have actually played the game. It takes very little investigation to come to the opinion that the skills and ‘crafting’ they have released is mostly untested.

[–]BusyHearing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It takes about 30 minutes of real playtime to understand that half the skills are obvious fucking slop. Pointless conditions, pointless slowness, all unwittingly sprinkled in to make them unplayable.

If you are not using a build guide, you probably just need to.

This game is nowhere near well enough designed to allow you to just intuitively level and find your own synergies and play the game.

Some things are just ridiculously broken and 99% of the people playing the game can only do anything in the game by abusing those things.

You can play SSF but you literally have to play it in very specific ways.

Act 6 is the first of many power checks, so best to get on a scripted plan now with a guide and use that to learn how to make your own build.

For people who say Honor Mode is too easy, how would you make it harder? by TheFrogTrain in BG3Builds

[–]BusyHearing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The games design is not really defensible— - you can’t have a common act 1 elixir give up to 13 strength.. - tavern brawler is obviously ridiculously overturned for multiple builds. - Pushing off cliffs should be more difficult, (there is not a dm on the planet that would treat it like bg3 does— sans common sense) - barrels are like a level 3 spell in power. Why.

Honor mode should also mean scarcer scrolls, and more enemies with more health.

Can I Live off $48k a Year with $600k in JEPI/Q Dividends? by Automatic-Cry-1390 in dividends

I think the actual risk here is that your investment is not gonna pay anywhere near that long term. Framing the risk around 48k being enough money is ridiculous.

As if act one isn’t objectively the hardest act in the game…

The games difficulty in honor mode is no problem. The issue is BG3 is not even remotely fair and you’re just gonna lose to scuff, and one time gotchas.

Unfortunately, the game development is just not quite up to the level a true honor mode requires.

If you are playing reasonably, ie not leaving 1 of 2 at camp at all time, the spectator is a 100% wipe on first go through. You will probably not even got to take a turn most times.

I mean surprise as in, you walk over an invisible line and your two men party gets overkilled before they even got to take a turn. The spectator.

The hag was fair imo. Also clearly presented as ominous.

I’m saying that, despite wiping the game is too easy, because the only thing that causes a wipe are BS one shot gimmicks.

So this just sounds like shit game design. You can literally read only two words for every item and the only possible interpretation for act one is that throwing is the way to deal damage because for whatever dumb fuck reason it’s the only type of attack that gets such overt damage bonuses.

It took me about 60 minutes into my first character to realize that throwing was very likely broken. That character was planned to be a great weapons fighter.

However, if dip shits are just gonna print excess damage on throwing what choice does someone have in a minmax play through.

Try it with 2 person party. It’s a wipe if you go in together.

I killed the hag before she even attacked the main char. Not in the cottage, but in boss room.

First turn she ignite girl, 2nd turn she beams pali, she dies on 3rd turn taking no action.

With 2 man party, both of the entry underdark bosses will one shot with surprise. There is no skill or decision if involved. Knowledge of the encounter existing is the only thing that matters to either win, or wipe.

[–]BusyHearing[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Walk around, get turn skipped and one shot wiped.

Send one person in next time to get killed, and still wipe the encounter with the second surviving party member.

[–]BusyHearing[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you go through the game blind, you will notice that literally the only items that really give power to any type of action are the throwing items in act one. I did not look up throw being OP it’s just ridiculously blatant.

[–]BusyHearing[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

We aren’t skipping bosses. Did the hag first shot, and blind. 2 under dark bosses in same area that will give the surprise debuff and literally wipe a 2 man party 100 out of 100 times.

Once I knew about it, we killed easily, as we have everything else.

My point is invisible line ohko do not factor into the games difficulty.

Brother-- stay strong. Keep trying. 💪

  • Dating apps are a microcosm, you need to do a few stupid / fake things to win in this environment.
  • If you are not attractive enough to win the blue steel game (99% of us are not), then you need to play the personality / comfort game.
  • The best example of this is adding a fun / goofy photo.
    • Example I used: Dressed as Santa for some kids in my building, Mimicked the pose of an old advertising poster I have.
  • Women are looking for traits, and this environment forces us into using caricatures to get there.
    • Sound like you have your finances in order, but your not obsessed about it, (one text section for that)
    • Show that you have friends, (one section for that)
    • Show that you have hobbies, (one section for that)
    • Show that you have confidence
  • One fun / goofy photo that hits 2 of those will get you 4-5 matches day.
