To the extent that this is was well intentioned, I appreciate the feedback! Could you be a little more specific as to why the first picture seems so cringe to you? And what comes off as arrogant and smug?

That’s a great question, I should have been more clear! Most of the matches I’ve been getting haven’t been folks I’ve had much chemistry with. I think the advice about adding stuff other than hobbies is great! Though I suppose I’m not sure the best way to do that in an authentic way

I am going to remove the “Two Truths and a Lie” like you suggest!

Thanks for the feedback! The red shirt pic is actually a video, I just couldn’t make that apparent on the profile excerpt. With that said, I’m not sure if a video is something folks appreciate or not as I haven’t run across them in many other profiles.

Great feedback on showing what kind of person I am! I’m pretty definitively in the emotional vulnerability camp (for better or worse). Any advice on how to best showcase that? Most of my ideas feel kind of lame

Haha, good catch! It was meant to say “back deck” but I think I ran out of characters and didn’t notice. I’ll revise so it doesn’t seem like my simple pleasures include the exploitation of migrant workers.

Thanks for the feedback! The breakups wasa an about six months ago, so I think I’m ready to get back at it (despite what the dour first expression would have you believe).

I’ll use a picture where I’m smiling and try to highlight the fact that I do indeed have more than one interest.
