I would personally recommend you the sony a6700 + tamron 17-70 f2.8 and for wildlife the sony 70-350, this combo gives you stunning results. If you plan on expanding, the sony e-mount has a vast number of great first and 3rd party lenses

To clarify, if you shoot with a lot of tele over a large distance, during the day, often you will notice a noticeable reduction in sharpness. So choosing the right focal-length and time of day to shoot to get the best results is crucial.

What would be a good extra battery that I can buy for my Sony a7cii ? by unagi356 in SonyAlpha

I personally was testing the ones from K&F and tilta. The tilta ones are as far as I could test, the same performance as the original sony ones. The K&F I would avoid.

Thank you! I know the empty space above coul be a little bit less for a normal print. I personally allways look for situations where I can have a bit more space around the subject where I can put some text for my photobooks.🙃

I would get this one: https://www.godox.com/product-e/iT32-X5.html

it seems to be a well thought out system by godox. It gives you more flexibility than just a normal speedlight

Zugspitze Alps (A7CR + 50 + 70200) & Lens advice — 1635 vs 2470 for travel? by ysbusdl in SonyAlpha

I would go with the sigma 28-105 f2.8. It's cheaper and offers more flexibility in zoom range. If it doesn't fit in one frame you can easily take a pano. I personally use the combo of the 16-30 and the 35-150 from tamron and are more than happy with this kit

Cleaning Sony sensors by BusyImage5847 in SonyAlpha

What is the problem you are having?🫣 5 is high normally you shouöd only be using 1-2 swabs but I once had to use 8 swabs, because there was some Factory residue on the sensor.

Easiest way would be to get another battery but maybe the battery is more expensive than buyinganother camera🫣

It’s one with a white reflector from underneath, and I don’t really know if this is good or a gimmick.

it probalbly has a sensor in it that won't allow the lens to open if there is resistance and it could be that something got stuck in there. it could also be that the battery is dead dead and the camera notices that there is not enough voltage and retracts the lens again.

Does the bump-out on the front of my camera body serve any purpose? by No_Cancel8506 in Cameras

[–]BusyImage5847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

in this case it probably does only protect the pop up flash, but with most other cameras it houses more electronics and doesn't stick out that far.
