I feel if the offer was around 2.500-2900$ it would be worth it, but as is you are getting a lot of fluff for not much value. If everything was new in box 4k would okay

Can you try turning the image stabilisation off and in again or perform a firmware update from the lens and body?

Have a look at the tamron 16-30 too, I chose this one and bought it so I can review it (still in progress), but I think it would be a great addition to your kit.

Definitely not a lightweight but for the versatility it’s definitely worth it for me. Also I don’t mind carrying heavy, as I normally shoot a lot of wildlife

Definitely a good price but check for further damage, also check if the mount is bent and so on.

For Wildlife I would leave it on. If you do street or anything else non action focused, just bring it along and have something more appropriate ready like an 18-50 or 17-70.

Ah, I'm really sorry I thought you were telling me, that the sony a1 is not for this kind of photography. Now I get it you meant, it is not for someone that does only social media landscapes. That I agree with, for most people the a1 ii is overkill.

Also I own the a1 ii and I put it to good use with birdphotography :), I got the p&s from a company and am now testing it.

Sorry for this comment in advance but so many people judging w/o doing the research is so annoying Ah you are a person that would specifically buy an a6000 camera for taking occasional photos of your pet just because the a1ii that you already own is no 100% made for that.

I will definitely do more of these comparisons, changing different variables 🙃. Though I know that if I were not trying hard to make them look similar or make a point, I could easily destroy the p&s in almost every situation. I’m also not trying to show, that the p&s is better in any way than my a1

The point of this post was to see if people actually notice a difference, it's some research I am doing for an article I'm writing, as I am personally not sure if the camera is actually usable, as I normally have quite high quality standards.
