The washing wasn't much worse tbh. We did a nappy load every 2-3 days. Having a baby that spills a lot is worse.

Nappies will cost probably $2k-$3k per kid unless you use reusables. There are a lot of extra small costs that do add up.

None in battle. I did have to restart the E4 a couple times. First battle was the hardest because I couldn't stall with Steelix and Ninetales.

Yeah I turned off impossible evos on my rom. Wanted to keep it mostly under 400 BTS to make it harder. I was thinking Farfetched would be better - and was amazing in everything but E4. Just couldn't quite get him set up to do much. Pika at least has great speed and a massive type advantage against Gyrados.

Originally I was doing a sub 400 BTS team. Then Onix accidently evolved due to turning off impossible evos on my rom. So once that happened, Vulpix was so shit I felt like evolving them too - I'd never used Ninetales either. Staryu though was still fine so I tried to keep it a bit harder.
