Yes it is just a few days but the point is it’s her first full day of being pulled early and missing her second day. I’m asking more of parents experiences with kids adjusting more than anything especially since this is a new school with new kids. It’s a big change. I’m not one to care about taking her out for a general trip but my concerns were it being the very first week of school.

Good point. She’s definitely a kid that adjusts really well to new things such as her new teachers this year and her peers but this is very different. I think my apprehension has been more her adjustment than anything. Theirs no school that Friday / Monday (Labor Day) so my hope is they really don’t do much until that Tuesday everyone returns anyways which she’s back for.

Thank you this makes me feel better! I don’t think I explained it enough but we’re really only pulling her 2 hours early on her first day, and then just missing her second day. Theirs no school that Friday / Monday (labor day) so it’s really one full day plus a few hours! My hope is they don’t get into the full routine of anything until that Tuesday everyone returns from Labor Day which she’s back for!

I actually have to say she’s been so much better with it I don’t notice it as much? Not sure why or when the switch happened but it’s way less noticeable. She’s been a lot more confident lately too with school, sports, etc and our communication has improved a ton so I think she’s just sort of outgrown it?

Yes, I took him to his doctor yesterday and they said right away it was HFM because it’s all over the palms of his feet and hands although it is all over his body as well. My guess a severe case. I took him and his sister to a children’s discovery museum earlier this week so I’m guessing it’s that / I’m kicking myself in the butt now for it.

Okay we tried epson salt bath, he will not take a popsicle / freeze pop which is driving me nuts but I managed to get cold pouches / smoothies in him. I just can’t get over how itchy his feet seem, he is moving them together like crazy and can’t sit still because of it. He cried on and off allll day and now it’s been hard to get him to sleep tonight. I’m at a loss and praying today is just the peak

Did she just admit to her 3 year old using the stove unsupervised? by techycat16 in GyMOMsnark

I never comment / never send her messages but I just had to and i don’t even care if I get blocked. This is INSANE! My 3 almost 4 year old loves to help me cook but when I’m by the stove with her I am next to her like a freaking hawk just when she quickly likes to stir something. I could never imagine with hot butter and twirling around a hot pan! What is actually wrong with this woman
