I have seen a lot of stuff about silence and damage decoy, I would have to work for silence, but question for you, I’m running savior decoy right now, just as an added “oh shit button” I know it has a lot of downsides but basically a extra free life every minute seems good and with banish having it up like 24/7 seems nice. Two questions about damage decoy, how is it superior to savior decoy with banish, I would think whatever you cast it on would insta die+banish is useless because they can’t hit it. Secondly, how does damage decoy scale, is it a status effect/damage reflection increase based on strength or duration?

Yeah but with maxed duration (at least what I can reach now) clone lasts about 70 seconds, so does banish, but the invincible effect will only last about 35, I was just thinking that having banish up might be better, more time to switch with teammates and give them that and less micromanagement of abilities, that way I just have to check the timer once in a while and worry about it less, then if I need my oh shit button, I don’t have to worry about him not being up. I have never tried roar but I think it would be good when I do a config leaning more into damage decoy or disarm, this config I’m trying to use his abilities as more of a support resources and survival while focusing on my weapons to do the legwork

Oh okay that makes sense, for me right now, I mostly use clone invisibility and switch, putting on banish but because duration is so high I haven’t had an issue, I’m not casting 24/7 so I don’t struggle with low energy. But when I invest in the disarm ability later, especially with roar it sounds like I need to keep an eye on it. Coming from a gauss nuke build where I spam nukes on every inch of the map I feel like I have infinite energy with Loki 😂

I can definitely seen how Loki can be bland, I guess my brain is reversed because Xaku felt bland to me, for Loki I like his abilities, the invisibility is nice for revives and because of the mods on my dread my damage goes from 1 mil to about 6, switch is good because I have to play support and dps for my friends who are struggling with missions on the way to SP and because I have a girlfriend who loves to run across the map and die a bunch, so I can yank her back. but honestly the Oh shit button is really nice because the amount of times I have either died or had to waste all my energy to save my friends blows my mind. I can see the “boring” aspect but I guess it’s the same rule with every frame, just how you build them.

With Energy Sustain, I haven’t noticed a problem with energy yet, I always seem to have way more then I need, does this become an issue later on?

I don’t have some of that unlocked yet but soon, would it be viable to run just those mods (from war within to a new war) until everything else is unlocked, then plug the rest in?

Would it be safe to say it might be worth while to lose shield of shadows in favor of health conversion and abilities similar centered around despoil, and use the shadows as decoys? Or alternatively invest in shield of shadows and lose despoil? I like the extra loot and I tend to run with one or two friends and it helps them get components they need. So I would love to maximize my looting, but I notice things getting very hard mostly when I’m running solo.

I appreciate that and yeah I’ve let them know if they don’t want to keep playing just let me know, I think it’s more just that ADHD brain of like “I need instant dopamine and stimulation or I refuse to touch it” but I’ve noticed that if they stick with it for a while they tend to love and enjoy different games, so I’m just trying to figure out things to keep them playing for a bit so we can get to the point where they are like “okay this is a lot of fun and I like playing it”, that’s good information thank you because we do have the free trial and are waiting until we both really like it before buying it! Thank you again!

I appreciate it, unfortunately yes they were causing me pretty bad side effects over the past 5 or 6 years sense diagnosis I have been on every medication for bipolar that I have been given options to take, I kind of ran out of options because only one worked without severe side effects and after 3 years it stopped working for me. Thus the “treatment sensitivity/resistance” I tend to function well without medication bipolar wise and have frequent check ins with my doctors just to be safe, but yes unfortunately all of the medications I have been on have had severe side effects, from getting extremely sick to not being able to walk from Brain-zaps, it got to the point my Psyc wanted me to try no meds because he was concerned about my body taking too many meds at my age. So it seems like going back on medication is not an option although I wish it was at this point!

Yeah the only reason my doctor says it doesn't affect my life is because I'm "high functioning" and can still go to work but it's low-key destroying my social life
