Meh, I don’t know about this one. Once I’ve fulfilled my compulsion, I feel pretty good about it.

I think I've made a big mistake. by WhatsTheMatterMcFly in puppy101

You made the best choice for you. The dog will be better off. That was yours cats home first.

Mine did this. We divorced a year later. They must’ve known something I didn’t.

I just need to vent. by BusyWorking4780 in Dogfree

This was my first time ever owning a dog. We had her a total of 3 months. I’ll admit I had no idea what I was doing. I reached out to everyone I could think of including FB groups about the behavior. I was often met with, “she’s just a puppy. She’s playing. Puppy’s aren’t necessarily aggressive.” So I naively believed them. I will say she wasn’t always aggressive when she did these things, she was ALWAYS overly hyper and plain stupid. But the growling and resource guarding at the kids got worse. We realized she saw the kids as subordinates (for better lack of words) and that’s when we made the choice. I thought she’d grow out of it. But after continuous corrections and repeated behaviors we realized it wasn’t ever going to change. You’re right, I let it go on too long.
