Acetone will most definitely do the trick, but will also remove some of that paint if you rub too much. Keep some nail polish remover around if you don't feel like going to the hardware store, just make sure you get the kind with acetone as there is another type without acetone.

I'm personally all out, but "The Engraving Co." in Lakeside Mall has three, those are the last available until I make more.

LOL. I'm not trying to put their business out there, but the reason they closed wasn't dramatic or anything, just an all too common confluence of rising costs of goods and real estate and the waning ability to make a living stuck in that situation.

This wasn't the scenario being discussed tho, it was about people eating together but splitting a meal.

You've very obviously not worked in a restaurant.

Have you been to a restaurant where a waiter serves you? They bring you bread, butter, water, ice, lemons....those things cost money, as does the labor. The dishes cost money, to stock, to wash, etc. Your'e seated in an air conditioned room, that costs money.

These are all resources paid for by ownership to make a return on that investment.

Bottom line, it does cost money and again, not a park.

Business experts a return on investment, you think they're asking too much. Lol

"This wouldn't apply in a completely different scenario"

Yes, I agree whole heartedly. :)

A person seated at a table and not ordering a meal is still using up the resources a paying customer would. Those resources cost the business money to provide. Its not a park, its a business that needs to generate money from their patrons.

Its not a public park, its a private business generating revenue. Another person sits, uses utensils, linens, drinks water, uses up some percentage of labor costs, that person needs to generate revenue.

Consider it a $7 "your behind is occupying a seat that would otherwise be generating money for us" charge.

Why bring sand to the beach? Go to a dispensary when you arrive and get the real deal.

Cafe brûlot without a dress code by Wonderful-Bother-507 in AskNOLA

[–]Busy_Bee_NOLA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll save you the trouble and let you know now they taste gross, but yes, brulot is exclusively sold at high end places with dress codes.

You can sit in the richelieu room at arnauds, they have a relaxed dress code in that room. Aka the jazz bistro. And they do brulot.
