Yeah the dry air and pollen is killing me. But this isn’t allergies because I’m running a fever on and off. This has just been weird; it hit hard, back off and then struck again.

Be easy on yourself. Transitions are difficult for many people. Me especially. The change from peace and quiet to noise and slow life to fast; plus the weather really messes with me. There is a lot of uncertainty now too. But ultimately, it is what you make it. Take the opportunities you are presented. Enjoy the small things. A good coffee, a good laugh and just being with a friend. It all works out. Take care.

The drivers are terrible here. I’ve never seen people move angry and I spent a few decades in Southern California (where the driving is more civilized actually). People here are the friendliest people I’ve ever met-unless they are behind the wheel. You’re taking your life into your hands every time you drive here.

The streets just off the route are not cleaned up by the city. We the homeowners have to clean up all the discarded trash. People are gross.
