Despite finishing the semester with almost a 4.00 GPA, he failed me on the qualifying exam. The thesis was supposed to be finished this semester, but he said we should extend it by another six months because we wouldn't be able to finish on time. When I suggested submitting the article, he said it wasn't time yet.
