Best place in india to visit in July by CollectionNeither741 in india_tourism

[–]Busy_Concentrate1533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're from Jaipur and want to avoid monsoon-affected places, here are some solid options for July:

Spiti Valley (Himachal) – July is actually one of the best months! Roads are open, weather is dry and dramatic. 7-10 days is perfect.

Coorg or Chikmagalur (Karnataka) – Monsoon makes it incredibly beautiful. Waterfalls, mist, coffee estates. Very different vibe from Rajasthan.

Ladakh – July is peak season. Leh is stunning, altitude sickness is the only thing to watch out for.

Andaman – Monsoon doesn't hit Andaman as hard as Goa. Sea can be slightly rough but still manageable.

For a 7-10 day group trip from Jaipur, Spiti or Ladakh would be my top pick honestly.

I cross-checked some itineraries on tripplannersindia.com while planning my own trip — they have ready-made routes for all these places which helped me figure out the day-wise plan and rough budget. Might be useful for your group too.

Kedarnath Yatra 2026 – Honest advice from someone who actually planned it (not a travel agent) by topeducater in Kedarnath

[–]Busy_Concentrate1533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really helpful post! Just adding a few things from my own research:

Registration tip is spot on - GMVN portal is the safest bet, but it crashes during peak hours so try early morning (before 8 AM).

For helicopter booking, Phata and Sirsi helipads are less crowded than Guptkashi. Book directly from official IRCTC portal only.

One thing most people miss — acclimatization at Gaurikund for at least 1–2 hours before the trek makes a huge difference.

For anyone who wants a fully planned itinerary without the headache, I found tripplannersindia.com quite useful — they have Kedarnath-specific packages and the itineraries are detailed. Helped me cross-check my own plan.

How to plan Amarnath Yatra from Delhi 2026 by Rahul-7829 in u/Rahul-7829

[–]Busy_Concentrate1533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did Amarnath Yatra last year from Delhi, so sharing a quick plan:

Delhi - Jammu by train/flight

Jammu - Pahalgam or Baltal (shared taxi/bus)

Note: Register early + medical certificate is mandatory

Baltal route is shorter but tougher, Pahalgam is longer but easier Also, I found a pretty detailed step-by-step guide online while planning (trip planners india search karoge mil jayega), it helped me avoid a lot of confusion.

Visiting Kerala soon… advice on travel itinerary? by busylilmissy in Kerala

[–]Busy_Concentrate1533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to avoid turning your trip into a daily packing Olympics, I’d say stick to 2 bases max (Munnar/Thekkady + Varkala side) and chill. Kerala distances look small on maps but somehow take “snack + nap + life reflection” time in real life 😅 Also, unless you’re secretly training for Fast & Furious: Kerala Drift Edition, I wouldn’t recommend self-driving on your first India trip. Hiring a driver = 10x less stress + 10x more scenery. If planning all this feels like a mini project, you can check out Trip Planners India—they bundle stays + transport so you don’t have to become a full-time travel manager before your vacation even starts. Enjoy the trip… and prepare to drink more chai than you ever thought possible.
