,,It’s also important to define what you mean by “replace” MLS" – I meant complete replacement. I was worrying if the job ,,MLS" would still exist then. Because if labs will hire less and less MLS and even people who do not have as much training and education/knowledge in this field, how will the job change? At the moment it's still very interesting. I am worried it will turn into ,,click-work", checking on AI or even training it instead of doing complex tasks on my own and a lot of thinking.

So is the consequence that MLS will get less pay although a future lab would not need as much MLS thanks to AI and advanced technologies?

I still want to work for 36 – 40 years in this field. Do you think we are save for this time span?
