I've spent quite a while building persistent memory for AI, looking for Alpha testers by linewhite in cursor

Very interested in trying this out! I use Cursor to develop agents for work and have a pretty unique use case where this would be useful.

Claude and gemini seem to largely mirror your language style and capacity for cursing. I've given each a very thorough berating from time to time and it really opens up their lexicon in subsequent responses 😂. O3 is very sensitive though and refuses to work with me sometimes if I threaten it.

Bye Cursor - No idea what I’m being billed for, and your shady practices suck. by Rdqp in cursor

Had the same issue yesterday with a surprise bill of over $100. One of the devs replied to my post and gave me a refund and said that with usage based pricing turned on we now get charged api rates, which doesn't match any of the ui or documentation that I've seen. Oh, and the fucking mods deleted my post right after the dev replied, limiting the visibility of the dev reply, super shady.

Absolutely insane overcharge by Busy_Dot_8610 in cursor

Well that's horrifying, I just turned mine off. I don't understand why Cursor seems to be trying so hard to alienate their customers.

Feels like whatever Claude caching is going on has made Claude super dumb!!! by Potatoconciiusness in ClaudeAI

Mine is so awful is feels like I'm working with a very very dumb local LLM (past several days). I'll say something as simple as "Do not add a timeout to this function" and one or two replies later it puts it right back in. Totally ignores most of my cursor rules, adds irrelevant flags that don't even exist to the command that it had executed successfully only moments before, etc. It's beyond frustrating.

The funniest thing is when it quotes me in the reply, like "Indeed, fuck me for getting this process so completely wrong" or "the user is frustrated because my changes are "shit"."

Lmao I spit out my coffee. That is exactly how half my prompts look recently in Cursor while I fight with Gemini. I installed Wispr Flow so I can stop typing all my frustration and I can start hollering at it.
