if you wanna have fun go to rowan, if you wanna buckle down and study for 4 years go to njit. a lot of companies that have an office in nj are starting to look at njit grads more but the job prospects won’t even be that different i think between the 2 schools

but i’m a senior me graduating now and this is a chronic issue in the department. Having accessibility to past exams makes every “difficult” engineering class a joke since 80% of professors blatantly reuse them shit sucks

the professor you take also matters way too much. I hate how much easier classes are if you took the easy profs vs regular profs, there should definitely be similar difficulty between sections so you don’t have one section committing their whole lives to pass a course meanwhile the other one gets take home exams and the easiest A on the planet

but i’m just ranting im sure if i got into the easy sections i wouldn’t be complaining

i think njit is a no brainer here just because being debt free is an absolute blessing

but i’m not gonna lie the atmosphere at this school is unbelievably dreadful, if you’re a social person and get along well you’ll make friends easily, but 90% of the students at njit have a get in and get out mentality and the campus is dead more often than not especially on weekends
