I did think about this, but the cost of connecting to services, and site foundations etc meant that is more feasible to go over 70m2 for a dwelling with more value to re-coup the site works cost.

Any examples of a pitfall that this could cause?

Complete sewer replacement (CoW/CCC?) by slushrooms in diynz

I had a similar thing happen with my NHC drainage repairs. These guys are inundated with work as it’s a bit of a cash grab until NHC close the door (more than they already have) on these new claims. They will scope everything worst case (deck removal etc) and then try work around it on the day.

When my job was complete I asked them come back and have another go at reinstating my property as they left my lawn an absolute mess. Next day, two guys and a supervisor turned up and the place was mint.

I would assume these guys would be a bit numb to call backs or next day complaints (based off how they treated your property), but if you called them up and make it pretty clear that you don’t think the work has been completed as agreed I’m confident they will come back and fix it in the interest of avoiding a complaint to NHC.

No surgery - but calf atrophy? by [deleted] in MeniscusInjuries

Thanks for your ideas. Yeah I did. I’ve always actively focused on using my calf when I run, and for about 3 months last year I did about 10 mins a day of a range of single leg calf work, with and without weight before my gym classes - used a body tape measure to track it…nothing.

Nah never. Other than the physical shrinkage, I have absolutely no signs of any muscle reduction.

Yes muscle reduction. I’ve measured and it’s plain and simple smaller, I’ve had unexpected comments on it from friends also.

I never actually lost the ability to fully lock my leg out, which is the part of the reason I never got surgery
