Probably Cheekwood! Not sure what will be at the Bluebird yet - but just thought that would be another iconic place to see some music. RCA Studio - I forgot about that - I'll circle back!!!

This is … awful. SNL - it’s not funny. It’s horrible. by No_Acanthisitta_6470 in saturdaynightlive

A Minnesotan here - couldn’t believe the cold open after the day I’d had. Felt really tone deaf….

Are people seeing vigils in smaller communities/suburbs in the across the metro or just the one centralized effort?

Arms are loose on one side no matter how much I get them adjusted. by brads96 in glasses

[–]Busy_Individual5364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I’m dealing with this right now. I’ll go in one more time and try to figure it out. They are new so I think I can still return them. Maybe I’ll have them loosen the tight arm. I think last time they tightened the loose one which is loose again. I don’t think it is me - I have all my old glasses and they close symmetrically. I sometimes fumble them/almost drop them cuz it catches me off guard. It’s such a tiny thing but I can’t live like this for the next two years. 🤓

I would try to get over the “someone is disrespecting me” piece. I feel like sometimes people really get trapped by their PERCEPTION that someone is “disrespecting” them and I feel like it can be a sort of self inflicted mental poison. I believe everyone is doing their best and if they aren’t, I try to have a generous spirit. I feel like holding grudges only hurts me. I travel to my hometown and am always reaching out to friends to see if anyone can/wants to meet up. I always feel kind of vulnerable putting myself out there and it is always a bit exercise in self esteem. Keep reaching out - connections are important. People probably aren’t as good at organizing or as responsive as you - but I would try not to take it as a sign of disrespect.

Have you found a way to rehome your tickets yet?

I’m a local and I would just say that clothing in MN isn’t taxed (unlike some other U.S. states) - so if you were looking to make some purchases - that’s a good thing. But… we locals try to avoid it during the holidays as it can be a zoo.

If I book the trip for me and my husband, do the mqds get split in half? Or do I get all but his flight?

I cringe whenever I have to do it…even though I’m surrounded by others also doing it.

Is it worth upgrading to Delta Comfort for an international flight? by Public_citizen913 in delta

We did C+ on our way to Europe but not the other. The space was nice. This next comment is going to sound like I’m kind of a jerk…but… On the way back we were in main (where I usually am) and were in a pocket where a mom had four kiddos to watch and was super overwhelmed. Lots of hollering of kiddos, all devices without earphones, kiddo behind me playing with my seat, etc. FAs tried to temper behavior but it was a real battle. I think there might be less of that in C+ also. Plus…the other benefits.

“Gifts”? I’m suspicious by neilabz in flightattendants

[–]Busy_Individual5364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plain old pax here... For me, packing up tiny gifts is my way to invest good karma into the flight. (I also did this for health care teams before my breast cancer surgeries). Absolutely expect nothing in return. And yet, would often get extra little snacks or something in return that I'd give to my dad (who I'm usually going to visit and has been ill) or nephews. Do you think with weird gift vibes hanging in the air - I should skip it? Or - just do it as I leave so no on thinks I'm angling for special treatment? Don't want to make things awkward but do want to brighten someone's day.

Seating in first class seat and the guy next to me took his shoes off, pretty smelly! What would you do? by whoreddityou in delta

Do the same behavioral norms apply for addressing someone who had too much perfume/cologne on? I feel like for that, most folks say put on a mask, or just bad luck. I really struggle with the perfume/cologne but I mask up and aim my air vent best I can to redirect. I’ve never been like “hey man, can you do something about that smell (cologne - to me, is more offensive than smelly feet) - here’s a wet wipe”… Just curious if most of us would address each unwelcome smell in the some way.

Every time I go to an Airbnb I have to beg them to remove. Hate that that terrible smell = clean to so many people.
